TBH this it was tougher in the 90's is bullshit, well let me make it more clear, there's no doubt the league was more lenient on defenders in the 90's as in they had more freedom to really defend an opponent. However, you must also realize players in the 90's were weaker, slower, and overall physically inferior. Basketball has evolved so much, and players are much better at conditioning and as a result you get huge players like Lebron or Artest gaurding you.
