This level resembles Half-Life. The entire game in fact. The old school shooters are so badass..too bad I dont liked them in the time they were launched. But, well...now I like them and play it a lot. This one, and Half-Life as well. But still, CS is shit for me. My opnion dont changed on that one.

Deathshead's (Wilhelm Strasse's) notebook, the one with the central office orders that he leaves on the table in the main lab (with his margin comments) is absolutely hilarious. He basically thinks the Nazi leaders supervising him (including Himmler himself) are all idiots without a clue, and the margin notes ("Is that what they're calling me?!") are priceless!

Maybe the funniest scene in any of the levels, aside from the "what should I do with all this cheese?" -- "find some crackers" bit.

when i played thsi game when i was about 9 or 10 cnat really remember the guys who walked on their hands and the super solidiers guys really scared me a lot i play it and im still get a little startled when those things jump at you this game was quite scary but i still play and i like it xlabs probably one of my favourite missions

I loved this game. When I first got it, I started playing and didn't stop until I had completed it, which wasn't until next day. :) Felt like watching a movie, and being in the movie, and at night with headphones, it does get a bit scary. Awesome story and game play. I want a sequel.

Yeah, this level was seriously scary, creeped me out a dozen times and I'm a horror-movie aficionado. The lopers were some seriously nasty dudes, and the Nazi soldiers in the X-labs were some nasty tough hombres.

IMHO the X-labs and Übersoldat levels with the Super Soldiers, probably the best levels that Id has ever constructed. The spare music is eerie as all get-out, the atmospherics really creepy. It's subtle psychological horror, and very tough to boot.

eh if u have like 7 hp and 0 armor left then you realy are cautious(kneeing behind every coner in the map)but if you have 100 hp and 100 armor the you even run in to a room where ther are like 3 supersoldiers and 4 lopers waiting for you, but still nice.
