Never could understand why people bash other peoples videos, or criticize.........Hey Matt cool vid man, my 3 year old just started to skate 1st week of April and he can manual a short distance, I'm not a skateboarder so he learns on his own. i'd say just find a nice smooth street and practice a lot. the manual in this video is a "locked" manual, where the toes on your rear foot are off the board a bit (your weight is more on the arch of your foot) and your front foot is up near the trucks. it's better in the long run to learn how to manual on your toes, in ollie position- that way, you can do tricks in/out of manual much easier. for this technique, it just takes time and practice; you'll get it before long!

@SK8facts I can do a manual for as long as my legs do not get tired. I started by practicing manual a lot. It helps to have a lot of speed, smooth ground, and don't worry about flailing your arms around to keep balance, you will only get better by trying as hard as you can to stay balanced and not care how you look while doing the trick =)
