I like to look at this film as "What would Batman be like in a different universe. In this universe, he's much more sensitive and more of a pussy then ever before! Very interesting.

I would have found this a compelling and interesting drama had it been the chance enoucnter between a wrongly convicted man and the officer who busted him. But sorry... this was acted out really well for a fan made film in my opinion, but i still think that it was really dumb, the way he and all, and i honestly think that bat man could had easiely escaped.
Also another problem is that also not having heard from him for 12 hours Alfred would've called Nightwing, Tim Drake and whoever the current Batgirl was. Then using the tracking device that, Batman being the world's greatest detective would have installed in his suit they'd have rescued him within days if not hours.

There's many flaws on this anti- Batman:
1-Missing 30 days? Those two would've crap and piss in their outerwears by now and smell beyond sin.
2-Batman would've escaped by now. He was trained to become an escape artist unless if he was taunting the druggie and he's good at that.
3- The Dark Knight has more gadgets than James Bond so him being chained up is just a walk in a park.
4-Batman? High? He fought Scarecrow, Poison Ivy and The Joker's venomous toxins. Why would it be different than this?

@Korutano In this movie the authorities had Batman's body. But in the movie the authorities decided "let's not try to identify him!" and buried him without doing that. - I believe that in real life a government absolutely would try to identify the bats.
Anyway, I'm not sure if Dick Grayson or any other allies exist in this continuity. The idea of faking another Batman would be plausible if Dick Grayson or others existed, and Batman was dead but his body wasn't found.

I think people are missing the point here. Batman, with many psychological issues, is scarred by past experiences, and obviously the death of his parents. Crime is something he doesn't tolerate but at the same time he contradicts himself because he doesn't believe death is the answer. He's a diehard deontologist but with altruistic tendencies. Now, he's placed in the position of his victim and is forced to see what he unintentionally created. His status get the best of him and now it backfired

I would have found this a compelling and interesting drama had it been the chance enoucnter between a wrongly convicted man and the officer who busted him. But sorry... I don't buy into a Batman story where he gets taken down by a meth addict and then violated. I appreciate the irony in it, but it's just not a Batman story to me.

Keeping in mind that Batman is fictitious he does have an understanding of human nature as well as a knowledge of who the criminals are. His character is also known to check the backgrounds of criminals he catches and if he determines someone can be helped on the right path he will do that. And if someone was simply parked in front of a meth house i doubt even the most incompetent trial would put them in prison. But other than that, very well done. Compelling story The actors pulled off the dialog very well. I enjoyed it.

I can't believe people are complaining about this when it says it all in the title. It's well produced, well acted and beautifully ironic. Batman came into existence to protect the innocent, in this particular Batman universe he discovers that he has hurt the innocent. Sure Batman would have protected his junk, sure he could have escaped the chains, but thats what makes this really interesting, he didn't and this tells the story of a Batman that has failed to protect. = 'The DEATH of Batman'

Also another problem is that also not having heard from him for 12 hours Alfred would've called Nightwing, Tim Drake and whoever the current Batgirl was. Then using the tracking device that, Batman being the world's greatest detective would have installed in his suit they'd have rescued him within days if not hours.
