i always go at a guy whos getting in his shot pretending to hit him in the nuts without touching him, and pretty much always he will react to it and it will throw his shot off.
anybody else other than just expertvillage tested out the nba workout system for dunking and shooting? Even players like Kobe have made use of this course. If you have no idea what's I'm talking about, here (50 inch vertical [dot] com)
expertvillage, I love playing basketball. I am only 5'10 and I am able to dunk! I just took this training plan at 50 inch vertical (dot) com - you can probably do it too
point c is that when your man is shooting you reach your hand out, pretend that your gonna hit him in the nuts, and the other guys reflexes do the rest of the work. that works so damn well.
The ref can only call a personal foul if he belives there was physical contact. And it would take more than blocking someones vision to be called for a technical. I dont know the International rules though.
The NBA rule book has a sort of a grey area on face guarding, but in the NCAA and FIBA rule books it's filed under unsportsmanlike fouls. You will rarely be called for it if you only do it when the offensive player is going for a jump shot though.
i never jump to block a shot, just contest the shot, lol, i put my hand in their face, like 1 inch from their face...lets just say the shooter wont be happy with it lol
I think some one called for help defense??
I can hear a ball bouncing in background. .

This is how shane battier plays defense on kobe
i also think it depends on how the shooter shoots because i bended my nail when the guy pump faked and put the ball back down =[
xdonalddd 3 years ago
That's a great idea I never thought of that. If you can't block the ball, block their vision. =D
