  • 1:30 Thumbs up if you were watching the yellow knife waiting for it to fall and missed the entire first half of the video.

    .

2:04 Make another account and thumbs up twice if you were disappointed when the camera cut away too soon.

  • Hey Will,

Could you do an installment just on how that cd drive is gonna drive the elevator? I've got a model coming in that I'd like automate the doors on and was thinking a cd motor would be perfect. The doors need to stop at their end of travel and reverse to close. The mechanism will be more complicated than I think, but the motor is the basis of it all. Thanks. Keep these cool projects coming!

    ! * * * * * !

  • I could do a video on that, its a good idea. but the motor is built right into the diorama as of now:( Maybe after it's all done. You have to tinker with the motor , reversing the polarity reverses direction. I glued a string to the gear.

  • I see. I've got leds down pretty good and tinkered with one small motor previously, but don't 'get' a few things yet, like how to stop the motor by itself, how to get the polarity to reverse, probably some more too. Maybe I could email a quick sketch to you sometime?

    Thanks for all your vids!!!

  • sure, email me a sketch! To reverse the polarity all you need is the right switch.

  • sweet i hope to see it soon. When i get the materials i'm gonna got to your site and print the instructions or just make it while i'm making the video and pause when i need time. I watch alot of your videos and subscribed to you. I'm glad a creative man like you share you passion for sculpting and art with the world on Youtube. Keep making your nice dioramas! (p.s. even though i don't have real wood in my trail walls and its mostly

sheet-rock i'll just place my diorama onmy desk.)

  • Hi Jordan! thanks for subscribing. Plenty more projects coming. you have fun with your projects and keep improvising!

  • whens your next video?

  • Of this project? Definitely this week. Going to go fast from here, lot of stuff, gold mine, silver mine, castle, underwater lake, dragon . going to be fun.

  • yeah. It looks better then foil because foil would look more......"pure", which wouldnt make sense because when you mine any metal, you always have to "purify" it. Even though I would call it more of a melting and puting through a filter. Off-topic there.lol

  • Cool. Im not going to reply to your comment cuz that would be being a dick, but I would suggest using small little pieces of foil. That workeed better for me. But yes. I think the glitter looks cool. (:

  • hmm, great idea. I will give it a try and see what it looks like. I will probably try several options. Gives people options on what they can try.

  • hey epicfantasy. I noticed hat note many other people make paper games. So i am making my own! I wanted to tell you because your paper game inspired me to make one :D

It is called inflitrate the kingdom, there are 4 boards to it. Southern Distract, Merchant Distract,Richer Distract, And the castle.

It is going good so far and i am almost done ^^

  • Nice! Send it to me when its done! Be glad to post it to my website:)

  • bad news, my friend was on my laptop, and big suprize he got me a virus...

i did'nt lose alot, but i am back to square one.

Hope you don't mind waiting a little longer :)

  • Great work Will. I'm always impressed by your creativity and great ideas =) keep up the good work. I can't wait to see the finished product.

  • dont know why but i did the coliseum of rome for a svhool history project and this vid gived me inspiration so yeah thanks! xD tw i got 5* for the project :D

  • Great imagination as always Will:)

  • Thanks Stumpy! And thanks for sticking with me so long :) You have been a long time subscriber.

  • woot its like a rl sidescroller

  • lol! You are right! If I would have thought of that I would have made the whole thing wider.

  • Would you use copper for gold? no wait....sray painted foil?

  • Great question, I picked up some gold and silver glitter glue in tubes. I am going to give that a try. It has a look like ore of some kind.

  • LOL is the master sword XD

  • how much would you say youve spent on this?

  • hmm,

    Old winow -$0

    Lumber $6

    Foamular 1/2 sheet $9

    Paints $8

    Junk CD Player $0

I already have all the tools needed, so that would be an expense but $0 for me.

The real expense is going to come in with the terrain materials and the miniatures. But I have most of that already.

  • @fatsoblitz you are an epic failure at life.

  • very nice u never fail to amaze me 5 stars

  • It's really taking shape! I like it!

  • Thanks! It will go quickly from here. Should be able to finish it up soon. Going to start a series of tutorials on WW2 Dioramas. That will be fun.

  • @epicfantasy check ur email...i sent u some pics..!!
