  • For God's sake to you people below, the man died and all you care about is politics

  • If Peggy Noonan and Kieth Olbermann - as far apart on the political spectrum as you can get and still be considered legally sane - mutually respected him as a friend, colleague and reality check to that degree - well, all I can say is that we should all wish to be that respected.

Of course, in order to be so respected, one has to be as respectfully, honorably and evenhandedly dedicated to asking each and every politician the last question they ever wanted to answer.

  • fucking idiot.

  • Peggy noonan is showing her realself, by her open mic, and notes in ther note book.

Go back to you Democrats Peggy

  • let's call it the corporate media, please. there's nothing mainstream American about fascism. This shit is fucked.

  • I'm really, really going to miss hearing Tim on Meet the Press. I'm really, really going to miss him.

  • What is wrong with people? How can anyone here be hoping that ANYONE suffered during their death? No one deserves that. I wasn't even that huge a fan of Tim Russert, but he was a great man and I've broken down multiple times over hearing the news cover his death. Anyone that has anything negative to say concerning this topic shoudl shut the fuck up and show some damn respect.

  • Tim....godspeed

  • god bless tim russert and god bless berto lopez

  • "bpotp".... you are a true piece of shit. No other comment, just you are a piece of shit.

  • You can say anything bad you want about almost any political news figure. Even Kieth Olberman. The fact that you say anything bad about Tim Russert is proof you've obviously never seen meet the press, or know how much everyone respected his style of journalism (besides you).

  • God Bless Tim Russert!!

  • I have the utmost respect for Kieth after watching him make it through the coverage of the death of his colleague. I watched this yesterday and thought he was going to break down at any moment. Russert was one of the greatest if not the greatest in American Journalism.
