hmm some very mixed reviews. i think tiffanyd said they were handmade and so the quality should be good, but it might be that it's not consistant.

i have a question, did your mac 187 shed? mine does and i washed it right. but it still sheds, and when i put on my liquid foundation, the bristles get on my face. ps:can you do a review on the kabuki brush from sigma? thank you

wow i have the same problem. but ive heard other makeup gurus say that mac brushes shed. i think its just mac. bc allll of my mac brushes shed its soo annoying.i feel your pain.lol

thanks for your thoughts, ren ren! i needed another credible guru to tell me how good these brushes are.. i heard one review from tiffanyd.. but it seems as if she's affiliated with the company because she hosts so many contest giveaways.. and of course she HAS to say something GOOD about the brushes..

I just don't get why people are bashing her so badly. For years, she's been used to using pretty much all of the MAC brushes, so it's not like she doesn't know what she's talking about. Some brushes out there are truly MAC dupes...and she simply found some good ones with the

Sigma brushes. MAC will always still be known for quality, but when you can find something identical for cheaper, why not? Seriously, there are dupes that exist that (just like the MAC ones) do not smell, shed, or bleed...

really?! then you must not be looking around much because negative reviews are everywhere. They DO NOT compare to any of my MAC brushes.

I agree. My brushes shed like crazy! I think if you're young and like to play with makeup then get it. But if you're serious about makeup I would definetly say invest in MAC.

sorry but I'm speaking the truth and sigma brushes DO NOT even compare to my MAC ones AT ALL! And yes MAC are way more expensive but they are worth it and you don't have all these flaws that sigma brushes have. I am kind of over these reviews that are pretty much putting MAC brushes down. They are expensive because they are WORTH it!

really! sigma brushes are not that good? I heard nothing but good things about them! Believe me I love my mac brushes and i have almost all but, if i can get cheaper ones i would.

Great reviews, thanks so much,really good to know what you think and your experience I appreciate your time and efforts. Just received my full set together with the 188 yesterday, took a week to get to me in London. Got to get them washed today so I can start trying them out but just by touch they do feel such good quality & compare very well to the Mac 150 & 168 I have. Cheers.

i think the brushes are a great price. the mac has took me forever to collect and the money i have spent is out of this world.i would be so well off if i didnt buy the mac ones. but once you start your collection you just want to finish it. even if it does take all your monies.

i would have brought theses for sure, if i didnt have mac ones.

My stipling brush turned blue after a few washes which I was very bummed about. However I love the other 11 brushes in the set. I agree that the sigma brushes are better quality than the few coastal scents one I own. Nice review!
