hey i know this video explain 3/4 of my questions but... why is like everyone in gears so familiar with Marcus' dad?..... What was the deal with the pendulum wars?...but like what is also the deal with aspho fields?? can anyone like sum this up for me? im kinda flabberghasted about this stuff.. so if you know any info and could tell it would be greatly appreciated THANKS =)

@cracknigglet adam fenix (marcus' dad) was a scientist and is missing im pretty sure thats what most people know. if you want to know more go onto google and type in adam fenix it should say gearspedia or something. hope this helped

Yes, Aspho Fields is amazing! I couldn't wait to buy and read Jacinto's Remnant. I got it yesterday and just finished it.

It starts well, first hundred pages but then it got a bit boring and it seemed nothing like Gears of War. Compared to Aspho Fields, I found the book poor.

The book is awesome!!! Its funny how now when I play the game I look at the all the characters (Including Hoffman) differently. The book gets personal with all the characters a little bit.

They do mention tai kaliso, i forgot the exact part, I think he served with carlos and marcus at aspho fields, or he worked with them in the present on getting food from a shelter

the first gears of war story was weak but the book fills in details and gears of war 2 has a much better story but giv the book a try im reading it now it is really good :)

Nice Review never got through a whole book in my life but i will prob give this a try and the halo Books sounds interesting but will prob end up looking for spoilers on the net.
