I was literally an inch away from Stan once. In 06 went to a live Q&A between him and Kevin Smith (wonderful night), with a screening of Spider-Man 2 before hand. I got in a little late, walked in the room as he was walking out before the movie. I didn't dare bother him, but as a huge comic fan, Marvel especially, it was quite an OMIGOSH moment.
