Difference is GH-git is nothing like real guitar, but GH-drums is much like real drums (minus accents and left foot work). My younger brothers is a semi-professional drummer, and he can go seamlessy between GH and V-drums. Amongst top 50 GH players on PS3.

There's no need to be insulting either wirednotice. It's a generally well known among drummers that a blindfold is meant only to impress people who don't know - that actually, it doesn't impair a drummers playing as much as you'd think.

So... I suprised myself @ how quickly I got good at drums on rockband. (Yes I know that's gh)

I struggle with songs like this on expert, but I'm good enough and think I have the coordination to drum for real.

Any tips for picking up real drums? I know about having to use the left foot for hi-hat but I couldn't see the real thing being much more different than the game bc of that.

The real thing is actually very similar. You learn rhythm and coordination from the game, which translates well to the real thing. My advice is to buy a drum kit and just start rockin!

No, that's how you normally are supposed to play. But this song requires the use of both hands on the hihat.

Only thing is you're going to want your crash cymbal on the left side of your snare if you are going to hit the snare with the left hand otherwise, assuming you are hitting the signature correctly your going to either have to hit the snare then crash almost immediately otherwise use your left hand to hit the crash.

Not possible in the guitar hero game obviously.
