This movie had so much potential to be good. All it needed was a change in directors and in human actors but kept everything else the same. If I were an ape actor who had to sit in the makeup chair for about four hours a day and then have the movie not do so well, I would be pretty upset, because you cant get that time back.

All the ape actors were awesome and the humans totally sucked.  Could have been a great movie. They say an art form reaches it's peak just before it dies out: Jim Henson's Dark Crystal was the best puppet-based film, this is the best facial makeup. I bet it will never be equaled.
