@tony11020 I've never kept salt water, i'm just in the researching stage and plan to turn a ten gallon into live rock only tank, but I've heard enough about this species to know that it should not be purchased.
It's so difficult to feed that it nearly always dies in the aquarium and is to be avoided by anyone who can't meet its special requirements, which from what I've read is most everyone.

Thats not a feather star. It's a sea lily.
