I got to see it twice and it was MORE wonderful the second time too. The detail in the majesty in animation just is beyond words. Let me know when you see it!
Great review Dianne. I totally agree with you. I was touched by the movie like never before in my entire cinema experience. I have to be honest with you, I cried several times throughout the movie and I rarely cry when I watch movies. The story was just brilliantly written and wonderfully presented on screen. It was a masterpiece! Keep UP the good work Dianne :)
I am now getting this movie so I can watch it with my kids I have for part the summer!! Thank you for the info..Forget the comercial previews,, this makes people want to see it even more!!! lol
Took both daughters: 13 and 18 yrs old, and 1 1/2 yr one grandson (from my oldest) movie managed to keep his attention throughout, so It was fun for all.
I took my wife and 3 children to watch the movie in 3D. It was indeed such a beautiful story and how sweet it was for this man to love his wife, who he met as a child. I loved it and my kids had such a great time.
'Up' is an excellent movie. I love how his wife left him a message in the scrapbook to 'try new adventures'. Had he not been flexible he might have missed a fabulous one. I love this movie.
I love that part too, I don't think a person who passes on would ever want to have their loved ones left behind to bemoan their death by living their own life like there was nothing to live for, great point!
There were two elderly animated guys, and my friend commented on the one who is NOT the main character that he looked like Spencer Tracy! I thought he looked like Kirk Douglas (not the main guy). I think there are many layers to this movie so that all audiences could really enjoy it. It had my attention from the get go. I cried several times too, so it just depends on where you are in your life I guess. Little kids will love the parts with the dogs especially and the balloons.
suprisingly, a lot of hot chicks do reviews.

One of the best all around family movies in a very long time. I think my whole family was entertained from start to finish.

Sounds like an interesting movie. I've seen some other reviews where they say it's more for adults than kids. What's your opinion?
BTW, the elderly animated guy in the movie ads reminds me of Spencer Tracy. How about you?
