these push ups are no joke, i almost passed out one day doin em. when i first started i could only do 9, after doing them everyday AFTER approx 100+ variation of dips, and BEFORE 60+more dips and at least 50 push ups, i could bang out 30 - 60 of these while tired, but this was after i worked our everyday for weeks... speaking of being football season ready =DDD
don't get me wrong, those were great. but when your buddy told you to go lower, your lower back caved in. tell me, do those bother your lower back? i just take notice to such things because i'm trying to get the standing abwheel, and lower back caving can fuck up your back. no doubt, much better than the 6 or 7 i can do.
7?? Pretty good!!! I used to do them before i hurt my back but i used to do them with my body all the way stretched out as well as the arms. The problem with that is you can only get off the floor a few inches buts extremely hard but dont try it, its a killer on the lower back!!
Maybe you have an already strong core, it really depends on the person, but 10 in your first try, im a lil sceptical..it can't be that easy unless your a gymnast or something similar.
