Snowkiting: speed, ice, power, competitions.

Nothing to compare.

hey is this at all possible with the 2-handled kites as apposed to a control bar? I bought a kite this spring for this purpose (haven't tried it out on snow yet), but i didn't realize it didn't have a control bar. sweet vid!

At most we use 4-line control with handles. Because it is best solution for racing and it give a more control vs 3-line & bar. Kites for beginners usually had bar control because its more easy. 4-line kite on handles faster and turnable. I prefer this one.

Keep hands near power lines. Keep power line between fingers.

Pull one handle to turn to.

Pull handle down clew line for fast turn.

Pull both clew line to drop kite down or just brake it in the air.

One of our friends had this fun.

He jumped but had a mistake on landing. Kite falled down and lines wrap abound his neck. The wind pulled the kite far and kite filled by air and became to fly. He had pulled 100-150m by neck trying to fall the kite. He pull one line to drop kite down. He can. He still alive :-)

It looks like snowkiting is really popular in Russia. I wish it was the same here in Bulgaria. I'm in love with the foil kites.
