  • Oh boy. I was a reticent supporter of Ron Paul but after hearing his views on evolution theory, the fact that he doesn't believe in it, as if it was a matter of faith which is in of itself a logical fallacy, I can't take him seriously anymore. A real shame. But I'm just one YouTuber...

  • What a true IDIOT... that last caller! She sounds like she's been wrapped up into some conspiracy theory, and can't get out.

She did mention corporativism I believe, which Paul talks quite frequently about. She also described us as an oligarchy, which is similar to what we've currently got. I think if she educated herself shed actually be on Dr Paul's side!

  • Last caller was your typical Leftest twit, totally oblvious to history. Their so SOLD on their ideals that the inability to practically apply them to reality over time totally escapes their grasp. Its pathetic...but i assume they will all snap out of it when we are standing in line for bread.

  • No they won't Wonglow...they will ask that the government "remove" all of us (non-progessives/fascists/communists) from the line so there is more bread for all of them.

They'd probaly blame the shortage of bread on free-market capitalism too, even though the government is the one who has the bread, and even though we haven't had free-market capitalism since the early 1900s.

  • he owned the last caller.

  • great videos, thanks for uploading them : )

  • hes so smart...if america had ant brains he would have been in the white house...hope he gets another chance

  • That last caller was an seaquipedantic idiot.

  • Totally agree, just like the moron who equated deregulation with removing speed limits and road regulations. Typical dumbass Americans who get their info from CNN/FOX.

  • That's a Big-Time Heavyweight Intellect!!!!!! So sad the American sheeple didn't elect him. Keep it up Dr. Paul, you ROOOOOOCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting these, RON PAUL!

  • good man. thats the first time ive heard a someone in washington say the words "fraction reserve banking" since the start of this economic issue. HOW SAD

  • If ever there was a person suitable for leading this country it's Ron Paul. If anyone could begin to turn things around it's that brave and intelligent man. He's got patriotism flowing through his veins. And he's got my vote in the next election whether he runs or not.

That's if we have a country left.

  • Well, again lobbyists and special interests are the problem. If Congress was totally responsive to the people things would be done differently.

Rep. Paul is wrong about this spending bill taking from those who are productive. As long as taxes are not going up, no money is being taken from anyone except those who like to buy bonds. That is why there is a large debt.

  • "As long as taxes are not going up, no money is being taken from anyone"

No, Dr. Paul is spot on. The consequent inflation of the massive stimulus is scary. With Fed Res printing money like crazy, every dollar holder is robbed by inflation. Inflation hurts those who make money but relieves the pressure of those who carry debt include US government. With that Obama is basically forcefully redistributing productive people's money to those unproductive fellas. How is that stimulating economy?

  • "unproductive fellas"

You are insulting the entire working-class Americans out many are working 2 or

even 3 jobs just to make ends meet.

Some of the Ron plans are pretty insane. Bush's tax cuts were not enough now is Ron Paul planning to give more tax cuts to the very people who were renovating their offices at 1.2 million $ while their companies were begging for a lifeline or is he planning to give tax cuts to those guys who flew on their company jets asking for handouts ?

  • The "unproductive fellas" are those bailout receivers. The majority of working class GOT NO BAILOUT AT ALL.

Paul's plan is sound, dude. We sweat to earn our money and pay tax to feed the government. Yet government gives it as bailouts to Wall St CEOs (b/c they are hijacked by Wall St) who in turn remodel their office with our money. Why do we want that to happen?

It's not tax cut giving Wall St money to squander. It's government giving them undeserved bailouts that enabled this lunacy.

  • He's planning on giving tax cuts to everyone, cutting spending dramatically, and completely eliminating the handouts to corporations. A Ron Paul presidency would veto every one of the bailouts we've seen.

If regular Americans are struggling, and you give them back 20% of their earnings, isn't that the best way to make sure all Americans are protected?

The rich don't pay tax. They have tax havens and loopholes and accountants so in the end they pay no tax. Warren Buffet pointed this out.

  • What is your defination of "redistribution" of wealth ?

Redistribution of capital from the middle-class America to the wealthiest of Americans ?

  • Redistr is like this:

Say you work hard, spend smart and make ends meet. You save money for you kids' education.

I don't have a job but I get a crazy mortgage on a 500K house thinking its value will forever grow so I can use it as my ATM.

Then real estate crashes, and I'm grilled by the 500K mortgage. Obama says, "Guys like OnTrials have too much wealth. If we tax them more and redistribute their wealth to dlmaniac, the problem is solved."

Would you support it or rather give Obama a finger?

  • Your analogy is nonsensical with no iota of connection to our current problem and solutions.

  • The connection is visibly there as long as you pull the head out of sand and look at it.

Just ask yourself where Obama gets the money to help fools facing foreclosure and banks burnt by bad asset? He can never give out the money he doesn't take it from you in 1st place. So it's by either openly high tax, or secretly printing vast amount of paper money via Fed which causes severe inflation hurting everyone.

Bill the innocent folks for others' screw-up, same ol' crap. No change at all.

  • Ohhh, the same way Bush got the money to pay for the greedy fools (Banks) who knowingly gave mortgages to people who couldn't afford it?

What about the flippers, yeah the ones who were buying homes then selling it for a profit I guess they aren't being foreclosed on, huh?

How about the fools on Wall Street who are living it up in $18B in bonuses?

Inflation? LOL...You didn't give a damn about inflation when we were printing money out of thin air during the Bush administration!

  • Where did I say I support Bush? It seems that your thinking was black & white: either Obama or Bush, yet you failed to see they are the SAME when it comes to steal main street folks' money to fuel their own agendas. Bush gave it to big oil and pentagon contractors while Obama will spend it on his socialism vote base, which is why you need to go with Ron Paul who rejects the idea of robbing American people with all kinda weasel purposes.

  • Where did I say you supported Bush? LOL...

The word socialist wasn't used when Bush was redistributing our wealth to the rich, now all of a sudden it's the in word to use to bash our current President. Feed the American people shit and they'll stink up the whole world!

Everyone seems to have all the answers, but not a goddamn thing is being solved!

  • So now you don't like the word "socialist". Tell me how it is NOT SOCIALISM when government makes the main street folks shoulder Wall St's loss? Do you enjoy Wall St arsonist receiving your hard-earned money? When Wall St has profit, they privatize it. When they crash, they socialize it so you the main street folks have a share of it. With both Bush and Obama sending pay check after pay check to Wall St and Detroit, when will you realize both have been screwing you? They are indeed the SAME!!!

  • You're making my point for me, but the difference is that Obama is trying to send more relief towards the working people. The Republicans want to do exactly what you're complaining about, making us pay for Wall St. mistakes.

Lastly, fyi I was for Ron Paul before going for Obama.

  • Well, it's not just Republicans. Don't forget Obama voted yes on bailout in Oct in Senate, and was busy asking for the remainder 350B for Wall St after election.

  • Let me state that I am not for massive bailouts, expecially for Wall St. But business has been getting subsidies (can also be called pre-bailouts) for years. Bush has lowered taxes but mostly for the wealthy. Jobs have been outsourced and competition for tech jobs brought in on H-1B visas. This has destroyed our job base.

  • Inflation does much more damage to those on fixed incomes and the lower wage earners than to those "productive" high income people. Business will raise prices so they will be hurt very little. That is what inflation does.

Wage earners loose as their salaries don't keep up with inflation.

Stimulating the economy is really several parts: Jobs and infrastructure, education and support for R & D come to mind. We can't just spend money at retail stores.

  • Wow, that last caller didn't know a thing about Friedman's ideas or that we actually add thousands of new regulations every year. WHAT DEREGULATION?

  • Good set of video's. I really like Ron Paul, even tho he doesn't believe in a stateless society. He's intelligent, has integrity and with more time , than 10 second soundbites to air his views, comes off really well. Pity the general public are so dumbed down that he didn't get to shrink the burden of government on us all.

The last caller, tho, she just sounded like she has been reading too many Naomi Klein books. A pseudo intellectual if ever I saw one. Embarrassing.

  • Infact I'd go so far as to say Kline is a con artist, cashing in on the people's lack of economic understanding. I'd be very surprised if she actually truly believes the tripe she puts into print.

  • Klien*

  • agreed, practically spouting revisionist history, lol

  • "They are not going to let me vote, I'm in the house, not the senate"

    lol

  • Take Canada for example. Canada has a way more socialized programs (than the US) like universal healthcare and a big government spending on other social programs which Ron Paul supportes like to call it "wasteful govt spending." but despite that fact why do Canadians have much lower debt at $14,159 per citizen while the US has a debt load of $31,717 per citizen.

Why the US has a lot less government mandated social programs than Canada but still badly underperforms

    I'm badly confused.

  • We're basically following the same script, but Canada's laws weren't as supportive of the great housing bubble. For example, I think that their home equity withdrawals have some restrictions, and I don't think they get to deduct the interest on mortgage debt.

In the US, we subsidize getting into debt, so its not surprising, we as a nation are in debt.

  • We are Canada's defense. Canada has to spend next to nothing on it's own defense.

  • Canada has to spend next to nothing for it's own defense. Europe, too. We spend it all for everyone. That has to stop!

  • Those who are educated by the marxist Department of Education, regurgitate what they have been taught. The globalists for decades have played the American people like a violin. They are so close now, they can smell it.

  • Caller 1 minute is an idiot

  • That last woman was duped. Neoliberalism was set up to discredit classical liberalism. Such ignorant shits, fuck the modern liberal media.

  • Nonsense, classical liberalism should be forward thinking, not backwards thinking. I guess humanity is not smart enough yet I guess. Anarchy of course being the highest level of humanity. But hey, if people want to being wage slaves or welfare slave and not produce, fine.

  • I sincerely hope that America will realize the greater truth. Or maybe just go back to watching American idol, The hills, Britney Spears, G-unit, Blah, Blah, Blah, etc. Gold Help Us All.

    Campaign For Liberty.

DON'T EXCEPT REALITY AS IT IS, QUESTION IT.

Peter Schiff, Jim Rogers, Max Kaiser (CHECK THEM OUT FOR YOUR FUTURE PROSPERITY)

  • The woman who called and said that "government has never been a problem". Was just repeating slogans she had heard elsewhere and clearly did not understand anything. Dr. Paul called her a socialist so rightly.

  • God bless Dr. Paul. Obviously the guy who called him " a wall street idiot" had an agenda. Perhaps he was paid by one of his own masters who is on corporate welfare. He only called to insult, and not shed any light on he matter. His call only caused my admiration for Dr. Paul to go up. His all only caused me to send more money to campaign for Liberty.

  • I dont agree with RP's foreign policy stuff.. but everything else he is spot on. He handled the idiot callers very well. These Democrats are so damn idiotic and have the mentality of infants.

  • That is one of the best broadcasts of the man on tv i've seen. only time he's had the opportunity to say more is in his rallies.

    peace.

  • he is the only politician I trust

  • This guy is not a Republican. He is a conservative.

Good idea, but it will never happen. I would rather our $ goes in our county rather than another country. That is why I vote Democrat.

  • CAFTA and NAFTA and AAFTA are all democrat policies. You sir are on the wrong side. And all business ventures are now in other countries.

  • Thanks for the video! GO!! RON PAUL!!

  • Comment removed

  • That last caller was totally confused about Rons positions and made an ass out of herself!

  • Sorry but I have to say this.

    I hope all you Obama,McCain,Hilary,Romney,Giuliani,

Etc,supporters and voters are proud of yourself!!

If you didn't follow the mainstream media and listen to their garbage we could have Ron Paul fixing this country right now!!

But instead you better kiss your good life goodbye!

    Thanks alot!

  • Could someone explain Ron Pauls answer to the last question. I don't quite think he understood the caller's entire point of view or at least he give a direct answer.

  • Basically he is recognizing that the last caller was falling into the partisan trap. The caller assumed that because Republicans talked about deregulation, the effects of their governance was the effect of deregulation. Paul was pointing out that although Republicans talked about certain ideals, they did not use them. Regardless of the name Republican or Democrat, the policy has been big government socialism. The callers points only proved Pauls argument because Republicans acted like democrats.

  • The last caller sees the government as the protector of people against the evil corporations. So she naturally thinks that getting if of regulations is the cause of our problems and it started with Reagan.

Dr. Paul pointed out that Reagan, while a jovial spirit, was a horrible politician and did huge damage to the country by creating more and more regulations and government and gave an anecdotal story of how the biggest government building is named after him.

  • The last caller was assuming that Ron Paul's Ideology's were that of Ronald Reagan which they were not, he stated that because she wanted a Socialist country. Also she called his logic (the only real logic in D.C) an absurdity, right away she didn't have her facts right so she is dumb overall. She probably supports the Stimulus Plan which is Printing and Spending, the same thing that got us into this mess.

  • Whenever the government is granted more power by the people to regulate some industry, that power is co opted and used to benefit the industry such as supporting its monopoly status.

The caller's point is that seem to keep getting bad people, and if we could only get some good ones, all would be well. Libertarians recognize that the behaviour of the system overrides whatever good will might be in the individuals. Sort of the idea that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  • If he is right, we'll be in a real shit hole in 3 years and the ron paul campaign will be on fire

  • Ron Paul pwns.
