Now...Y'all know "Kill It Kid" is a rag played by Blind Willie McTell. Right? That man could PLAY that 12 string guitar, and had a fantastic laid back vocal style.
He also sang two versions of a song called "Lord Send Me an Angel" found on "The Definitive Blind Willie McTell Vol 2" Album (released very postumously).
Anything by Blind Willie McTell is worth listening to. Promise.
I love this band so much. They have such a unique sound. I admit that I've only found them recently and that I'm a newbie. But Chris' voice has so much depth and the range of genre's that the band's music incorporates is incredible.
I'm 56 years old, and these guys are brilliant. For me the lead singer rates alongside the likes of the late James Dewar (Robin Trower), Joe Bonamassa (also in Black Country Communion), and Alvin Lee (Ten Years After). Great to hear a mix of violin in with some rock and blues. They deserve to do well and I hope there are enough people out there who appreciate good stuff like this to help them succeed. If they had an album I'd buy it for sure!!
Not even 50,000 veiws but Justin Beiber get 1 million a day. How does a song that has no concept and is written by rewritting a single word get 1 million veiws while masterpieces like this get thrown to the wayside... This is more amazing than anything mainstream.. People are so used to not thinking for themselves that they listen to any crap on the radio. Urgh! They are so ignorant! Don't get me wrong mainstream is ok but this is a work not just a simple song. It deserves more that this >.<
ahhh i love this song. it's just amazing. but, is he saying "the pancakes turn sour; as we face our final hour" at 1:40? cause that just doesn't seem right..
Lady Gaga comes out and makes music that is only slightly different to current pop music: everyone calls her a genius. These guys make music which is bringing back lots of great genres that were popular years back: no one gives a shit. Double-standard music industry.
@spiffcorgi The music industry just like any industry is out to make money. In that sense it is not a double-standard but a business. Everyone has different tastes especially in the art form that is music. It just gets tiring hearing the same old stuff when people analyze music. "My" artist is better then "everyone's" mainstream artists. Music is an opinion and not a fact.
@Kenny5410 I know what you mean, I just dislike that lots of mainstream artists are made out to be musical geniuses. Some of them are, but the vast majority are just puppets for the record label.
I can hardly believe that voice comes from that body.
