@thebeadfairy1 Those papers are not too old. I think they came out in September 2010. They are K & Company's "Alleghany Plum" paper collection & the paper pads were designed exclusively for JoAnn's stores. It's the same idea as the DCWV Mariposa papers, which were originally exclusive to JoAnn's. There is a K & Company paper pad that is not exclusive to JoAnn's and came out around the same time ~ Jubilee. You might check that one out ~ they were designed by the same artist.

@thebeadfairy1 Ha ha ~ sorry Jubilee is not the one I was thinking of. It is by the same artist, I think, but it doesn't have a similar color palette. {it's really pretty though!} I was thinking more of the "Que Sera Sera" papers.

@SuperJUNGLE2 I don't know really ~ my mind is always working at way at something & an idea or inspiration can come from anywhere. I just try to be observant & also to look at things in different ways. Also, I play around with stuff a lot to see what works and what doesn't. :D

What type of medium do you use with you Perfect Pearls?

@Blexy123 I use Ranger Perfect Medium to adhere my Perfect Pearls. I have it in both the clear & the black and I use them both for different looks. I have tried other glue pads {like Versamark} and didn't like them as much. I think the Perfect Medium is drier and I like that about it ~ less sticky. The Perfect Pearls seem to go on more smoothly.

@uglybobswife I use a variety of adhesives ~ I am kind of an adhesive junkie! My top five adhesives are my ATG w/ Scotch 908 Gold refills, red sticky tape, pop dots & for liquid glue I like Scotch Quickdry and hot glue. I tend to use the ATG for adhering paper to chipboard or paper to paper. For anything movable or interactive that will be tugged on repeatedly, I use the red sticky tape. I use pop dots for dimension & hot glue for bulky items. The Quicky dry is for anything irregularly shaped.

@MsEvelyn333 Thank you so much! :D The binder is the Pink Paislee 8"x8" Orange "Artisan Album" and I got it from Pink Paislee during a warehouse sale they had. However, if you just google for it, a lot of online stores are still selling the Artisan binders. I hope that helps!

@723mash There is probably a tutorial for it somewhere. Kim used it in the "Ella Blue" album she sent to me in a swap & I just figured it out from the mini. I did make this one on my UStream show & have added the link to the UStream recording where it appeared to the comments section of this video. I hope that heps! They're fun to make & really a lot simpler than they look.

@fruitfly769 I'm glad you were able to find the paper ~ turns out it was not so easy for some people to track down! That stamp set is Inkadinkado #98624 and it's called "Thankful for Everything". It's one of my favorite stamp sets because it works great for Fall/Thanksgiving stuff, thank you cards, journaling, etc. Love it! :D Thanks so much for watching and commenting ~ I'm glad you enjoyed it!

@DaisyMay8887 Hiya, Marnie! To get started with embossing, I would recommend a heat gun {I use the silver Marvy Uchida heat gun}, a glue pad {I prefer the Versamark Watermark Inkpad}, and some basic colors of embossing powder. I would start with a small jar each of fine white, fine black, fine clear, fine gold & fine silver. Those will work with pretty much any project. Once you know if you like it, there are lots of fun powders and colors to choose from! Good luck & have fun!

@scrapstress Thank you! The shattered glass embossing was totally a whim. I was originally going to do the swirl since the paper has a swirl in the background, but something about the folder struck me as leafy when I was going through the folder stack. Now I am going through all my other embossing folders and squinting at them to see if any of the others will do double-duty!
