The top speed is way lower than it could be, because of the huge aerodynamic downforce on the cars.

LOL Yeah maybe severely modified and at the Bonneville Salt Flats. No Formula 1car comes anywhere near 270 mph at any circuit in real life. Get your facts right. Champ Cars at Fontana back in 2000-01 were hitting 240, and that was a closed course speed record set by Gil De Ferran.

Dude what the hell is wrong with you? Read my post again. The cars have to be modified severely in real life to hit speeds close to 270. And why you think the Red Bull is so much faster and more able to reach those speeds than the Ferrari or Mclaren Mercedes is hilarious to me.
