-"Héèèpa" is a greeting of awe before mighty, massive forces, usually reserved for the deity Obàtálá, and "Bàbá" is (venerable) father. Obàtálá is the king and patriarch of all the deities/òrìşà and creator/moulder of all living things.
Thanks for posting this video. Where was this held and when? And where are the people going, meaning is this part of a formal worship service? I ask because I'm interested in learning about the influence of African religious traditions on Black American parade, step, social dance, and religious dance movements. Thanks again!
