barsorro - your right, i enjoy 5 minute chess a lot more than the usual time controls. im looking to play some of those in the near future, simply trying to get some database work done before start playing in those.
Great vid, Charles. I would edit out the long pauses, though. Interesting that you didn't comment on "knights before bishops", which I picked up on right away - you brought your knights out and he was still making pawn moves. : )
The way I remember castling in 960 is that the king and rook have to look the same after castling as they do in regular Chess.
I couldn't believe you'd pull it off! You were so extremely short of time. It just shows the role that experience plays in boosting the self-confidence and cool-of-mind in Master-class players like you, I guess! :) Thank you very much -- I really enjoyed it!
I would still probably enjoy it more if you played at 4- or even 5-min. time controls -- the few remaining seconds dribbling off your clock made it difficult for me to _watch_ the game and to focus on the position; I just can't believe you hardly seemed to feel any pressure!
