I was actually disappointed with ROH for the way they let Aries go. The man should've been given a proper send-off like the ones received by CM Punk, James Gibson, Samoa Joe and Bryan Danielson. I guess they just figured that Aries isn't done with ROH yet.
He's the ONLY person to have ever won the ROH World Championship more than once. Personally, I prefered his first reign. He had a lot going into it, considering who it was he defeated for the belt.

A Double is the most complete wrestler on the planet. This guy is too good for wwe and tna although for his sake id like to see him make the money he deserves even if it means him not going 100% in one of the big companies. I mean if wwe are considering really giving danielson a push well then i dont see why aries with his superior mic work and charisma and almost on par in ring ability couldnt do well for himself.

I think GN served its purpose though. Aries always said that he would be the next ROH Champ while Joe held the title. He was. GN helped all it's members get a lot of recognition. I didn't care for the rebirth of GN though the same way I don't care for the new Embassy the same way. But I would like to point out that I don't feel the job of the wrestlers or people in the back is to entertain me, so I don't gripe about it. The new stuff is good in a different way than the old stuff.
This is actually aries' best theme and best gimmick. I do not like the new Austin Aries gimmick, because it is a gimmick that has been outdone by others.
If they wanted to go with a heel Aries, they should have went circa 2004.

i dont mind ur opinion but Ive managed Aries as the cocky heel persona on the indy circuit and he gets ten times more heat right now I am his long time friend and he totally enjoys this character more because its more of who he is in real life

1. Pushing new younger talent (Crimson, Gunner, Robert Roode, Aries, Shelly)
2. Phasing out Veterans.
3. Rebirth of the X-Division
4. Knockouts Originals returning with better matches consistently.
5. Bound For Glory series provides great match ups, good matches, storytelling, etc.
6. Entertaining gimmicks like Sting.
The show is pretty organized compared to 2010. People seemly just hate it to hate it now.
