Yeah you gotta watch those gravel spots. I was on my bike not dirt bike just a pedal bike, in a short sleve shirt and shorts with flip flops, and was going 25 around a turn barely turning, and slipped then skidded 15-20 feet and hit the back of a car. But I had minor scrapes because I rolled all the way. My bike though, LOL one of the pedals snapped off. It was a 300 dollar bike too. :(

A second hand KTM200 is a great choice.....if you've ridden for a while. My son still rides his at 19 as you can in the latest videos. Should be able to pick a decent one for $4k. You'r thinking is good, in that you won't need another bike for years. That is why I bought my son one.

It's very dependant on knowledge of bikes in the family. But first step, talk to Dad and Mum. Maybe out of their price range. Then you need access to people who know a bit about bikes to get a good one.

The only problem is the size. I have a friend that just got a ktm 200 and his about an inch taller than i am. I've been told it doesn't matter if your feet can touch the ground, it's all about whether it's comfortable.. i hopped on his and it was.

Is this the correct method or should i wait till iam taller/stronger.
