Despite the 1st half altercation which I haven't seen with my own two eyes, the fans were treated to a very entertaining game of hoops that came down to the wire. The referees did a good job of letting the players decide the outcome, and I can understand why they didn't eject MB. It's what the fans came to see.

And Matt Barnes is 1 of the few players in the NBA who keeps it real, growing up in the rough parts of Sacramento. But, the VAST MAJORITY of NBA players have been spoiled and babied since they were in Middle School by everyone from teachers to coaches, telling them that they are the greatest thing ever. The foreign players are harder than the U.S. ones.

I used to live in SE Washington DC. Austin Carr played in my CYO league, later Mackin HS ( back in the 60's Mackin was a Catholic school that was about 95 % black ) - Austin still has 6 of the highest 12 single game scoring performances in the NCAA tourney and his 61 point effort is still the most by any player.

The "hood" has always produced the best talent.
