Ok don't get me wrong this is amazing, but I take it you play Minimattar? Because I saw lots of Caldari Ships blowing up and only one Minimattar ship destroyed :p (and even that one might have survived) As a Caldari player I take umbridge! Next time let's see both sides take a pounding :p

You should be hired by CCP. This is... THE BEST video I've ever seen to CCP. I really think you should formally approach CCP with some ideas. Using the Unreal Engine wouldn't completely drag out EVE as Dust 514 is using Unreal Engine too. One of the things i hate about eve is that the size of a gun and a ship are strongly mis-viewed. A frigate should be able to kill a dread. A fighter can kill a deathstar for god sakes. Did they not make an Icelandic version of star wars :P

The reason that there are more machinima in the UDK/Unreal3 engine is because the toolset within the unreal editor is incredibly easy to learn and have a very comprehensive set of tools that in many ways are as good if not better as their dedicated equivalents. This was definitely awesome, hope you have plans to mess about with Incarna in the same way :)

Damn, I loved the ending, but I did see one issue. The billboards are holographic, not solid. They're two pieces, a top and a bottom, kept in sync by on-board thrusters and possible tractor beams. So there's no screen to shatter. Cool effect though. Fantastic machinima all around. Hell, fantastic short film. I'd love to see something like this using the CryEngine 2. There are a lot of mods for Crysis, but not many machinima. Can't wait to see what you do next.

Really well done, mostly. The voice acting needs a lot of work - as good as it was, it's hard to be excited about a machinima when the voice actors don't sound excited about it. That and needing a slightly better explosion animation would be the primary critiques. The music, animation, models, and textures are excellent. :)

Awesome video. I could not make it, but have enough of an understanding of work involved to appreciate how great it is. However, why did you "popularize" it for the masses? A single missile kill just doesn't happen in EVE. Part of me does wish sometimes that ships could collide and take damage in EVE, it would stop annoying bumps when things have gone wrong and you're trying to burn back to a gate to un-ass the AO.

Then shortly after at 3:36 when the Claw is destroyed, Firefox makes a single comment that I just for the life of me can't figure out. To me it sounds like she says 'plaze'.

I found that Unreal is pretty intuitive and has a lot to offer, though it has varying difficulties as matters get more complex.

Check out the 3D Buzz tutorials, they helped me quite a bit, when I first started. :)

Man i love this concept of eve on the unreal engine.. it looks amazing. Some of the effects and sounds i recognized from Unreal Tournament 2004 and Unreal Tournament 3, both of which are made by Epic and are run on the unreal engine.
