Most 30 Rock fans make the claim that if someone doesn't think 30 Rock is funny it's because they don't get the jokes. I get the jokes, they're just not funny ones. The problem with doing a satire of stereotypical characters is that sometimes you end up just being another stereotype.

@TheMarvelProject For sure, it resonates more because there is also more drama elements. Like at the end of season 2 I was so happy when Jim kissed Pam. Thirty Rock just doesn't resonate the same way with me. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed some parts of 30 rock, the episode with the Tracy's Jordan's entourage had me chuckling a few times, but Krakowski's character drives me nuts every time without fail, it just doesn't do it for me although Krakowski herself definietely does it for me.
