I have always been a resident evil guy myself but recently I got this game and played it through twice, and while I love how the environment puts me on edge worse than any of the resident evil games the story is confusing as hell. What is he talking about waking her up again for, and whats up with Angela walking up the fiery stairs, is she killing herself? I hear SH3 is the next best thing to 2 any thoughts on that? I need to pick up another in the series I see why people are so into SH now.
@norris3531 Its rally obvious. Listen with your ears. Angela had been Abused by her father, and she killed him. She feels guilty and thats why she asks for James to give back her knife. when she goes up the stairs, its like saying that she can't go back or cant get over it. Wiki it im sure you will find answers.
You can find the soundtrack from on google if you search SIlent Hill 2 OST or if you go to bluelaguna. net er, some shit like that they have the soundtrack too. The track that plays here specifically is called The Reversed Will.
@emodude33 In tibetan Buddhism (which these games are highly inspired from) If you cannot release yourself from your belongings and feelings towards earthly things, in this case, strong love and grief over Mary, you will suffer in the afterlife. You get several chanses of salvation. If you run away from these, you will suffer, as he does in he's own hell. Finally the last choise is rebirth, among the last junction place to choose is misty forest, if rebirth there you'll get to hell
James, during his journey through Silent Hill, read texts and collected items to help him with a certain ritual which could be completed within a church on an island in the middle of the lake. ;)
Yes, no, and maybe. The relations between the games are strained as it is. If anything, SH2 stands strong on its own without needing it to be related to the cult. If it is indeed related, that's fine as well.
