the jitters look like they came from 1080p slowed down on the timeline when you should have shot 720p at 60fps with a 125 shutter speed (close to 180 degree shutter angle). Then slow the 60fps footage down to 24fps with cinema tools.

watch out for the shutter speed, 5 D with only 25 fps shouldntt be slow mo to many jitter wil appears, try 7d or 550d or 60d, with 50 fps, i have 5 d i use it only for master shot only

well for video there is not THAt much difference with 5d especially the fact it's so expensive but for photos, it's a full frame camera. I have a nikon d7000 and the video is the same but all u need is an editing program like premiere pro cs4+ and movie magic looks for that film look. check out my cars and coffee video. 75 dollar zi8 I put some movie film look and it looks great... but it's ur money.

Should I drop the idea and rather buy a Nikon D 3100 which has autofocus in the video mode? I know the Nikon D 3100 cannot have the 5D Mark II quality. But at least it's far less expensive. @kabirsuman1 my personal opinion would be, skip both of them. the 5d is fantastic but if you're considering a 3100, i'm assuming it's your first DSLR in which case i'd suggest the 600D or the 60D if you have the extra cash. shooting video should all be done manually and from using the 3100 before, the auto focus isn't fantastic. i use a 60D atm and it is brilliant! but 600D is just as good, if a bit less robust. hope that helps :)

Or, wait a few months until Sony brings out the new A9X full-frame - in terms of image quality, nothing will be able to touch it. @xXDaPerXx well, it might be a bit out of the question, but i have worked with 7d and even though i am a Nikon user, i fell in love with it.7D is an amazing piece of art, and its so close to 5d that you should not even concider upgrading the body,unless you go for very specific kind of photography that require unique features.Instead, i'd suggest you to work on lenses.Lenses is an investment.

@cjinfinito Because they thought there gonna be smooth slowmo by recording with 5D Mark II, the slowmo wasn't pretty smooth, it's even not the photographer's fault, it's just that 5D Mark II records 30FPS(maybe less, correct me) so it wouldn't be smooth, smooth slowmo on 60FPS with manual shutter speed will make the best result, & not forgetting the memory card's speed writing every single frame.

Great one, I recommend you shooting video with 1/4000 (or more) shutter speed & 60FPS then use Twixtor Slow Motion for better slow motion (maybe the best).
