This is the best place to live. Imagine a dance club that never closes down or a Christmas that never ends...you party all day and night....a wedding day that goes on forever, a thanksgiving that never ends, and then the view of that sun on your front porch, how many books would you read, fall asleep then wake up again...just to look at the sun that never goes down....you write a letter to your friends in Texas who are boiling day and night and tell em how beautiful the world is.....

@77705000000000000000 Thank you! It's a gracious sight, agree with you, but it is because the light from sun have to pass a longer way through the athmosphere that we can see this red colour... It isn't more magic than that!
@77705000000000000000 u are damn stupid first of all this isnt a place to post that commment but now that u brought this up let me say Christ is god he is the only visible manifestation of what u call god u dumbass God = Christ Christ =God
@eminem88 you are very right my friend. why did that guy have to corrupt this beutiful phenomena whith his muslim bullshit. i can't stand it when they deny the divinity of Christ.
Allah is no Match for the Great-ALJU, For the Great-ALJU Has decided! For even he makes mistakes! Rather than pretending not to. The Great-ALJU has taught me Morganish and it's culture. This is the next Generation
Jesus was the one whom God has sent to us to bring forgiveness wich says in Isaiah 53
,so if i believe that Jesus is the messiah i have to believe his word wich says ''nor does the Father himself judge anyone .He has given his son the full right to judge, so that all will honour the Son in the same way as they honour the Father''.''just as the Father is himself the source of life , in the same way he has made his Son to be the source of life ''
@Hans021220 Takk for det! Har desverre ikke flere opptak enn de som ligger ute her i øyeblikket! Bor i Larvik, og har ikke vært hjemme i Tromsø på sommerstid på flere år! Men en dag kommer det mer, garantert! :-)
somebody told me that u can see the midnight sun when the weather is changing to winter its that true?? becuase im going to oslo this december answer me kisses from puerto rico <3
@tuenvidiaxley Sorry, but there is no midnight sun here at winter time, but you can see the polar light if weather is good, which means a clear, starry night, and biggest chance to see polar light - or Aurora Borealis in Latin - you will have in northern parts of Scandinavia, north of Polar Circle. Have a nice trip! Welcome to Norway!

I am Brazilian and I don't speak English. A dream of my life is to see the midnight sun. Thank you for this beautiful vision. A hug from Brazil to you. Best wishes.
This is cool, I always been fascinated with Scandinavian, Latin American, and Italian culture and phenomenon of those regains. I do have two questions for you. I heard a vast majority of Norway can speak English. Is that true? Second, can a Norwegian speaker understand a Swedish speaker? I am asking for I am learning Swedish now.
Sorry for late answering! English is well understood in Norway, as it is learned by children at school from about 8-9 yrs old. Swedish is easy to understand, written or spoken, by a Norwegian. Some words are different, but all in all it is easy to understand! Hope this was some helpful! Good luck with your Swedish learning!
for me this is completely weird, i live in costa rica, i've lived here my whole life, and now it surprises me, here it gets dark everyday of the year before 6pm, sometimes if we're lucky the sun sets at 615pm....but, at midnight..wow....i must be there..
You are very welcome to experience this naturally happening! Biggest problem is weather! Northern Norway is not most well-known for good weather, more like cloudy and cold! But when clouds are away... Well, you see! =)
Yes, in Tromsø you cannot see the sun from November 27 till January 15. During this periode there is a darker daylight, especially around Christmas time.
Beautiful... Thank you for posting this. But I want to ask you something... I can hear birds there, what do they do when the sun doesn't hides? I think they should be crazy or something...
thank you very much for posting this. please post more of these if you can please--midnight sunsets, and sunrises. i love your county.
