  • i am being this for hallaween next year and the first thing i said wow THIS IS AWESOME and the stiches look very real

  • This is awesome. Just as a really quick suggestion, though, if you used prosthetics in addition to the face painting, this look would be INSANE. I don't know if you've messed around much with liquid latex, but it could seriously take this look over the edge. <3 It looks amazing, either way. Great job!!!!!!!!

  • WOW when i first saw the pictures of this i though the stitches were prosthetics! good job!

  • Bravo... finally, an artist who can do some killer makeup.

  • Respond to this video... That's awesome!!! xoxoxo

  • I don't think I can do that as good as you, but I want to try!

  • AMAZING !!!!

  • I copied this for Halloween and my friends were majorly impressed, so thank you so much for sharing! x

  • @Screamkisser Awesome! If you get a chance, friend me on facebook so I can see of pic of how it looked! :)

  • @lisajoyyoung Thx, have done it Went lighter on the background as the creamy white facepaint I bought made my skin burn so I had to take it off and use normal facepaint and powder shadows, but it turned out great anyway =D

  • @Screamkisser I'm glad it worked out for you!

  • LOVE THIS!

  • Super Awesome! Thank you so SO much. I had no idea what I was going to be for Halloween. I don't know how I came across your video but you so have a new fan! My inspired look was no where near as good as yours but my friends were impressed and I loved it. You have introduced me to a whole new part of the web that I didn't know was there. Did I mention SUPER AWESOME. Thanks again!

  • @Hezakaaboo1 That's awesome! I'm so glad your makeup turned out well for Halloween. Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice comment :)

  • love your videos, happy i found u :)

  • i did this makeup and it looks exactly like yours!!!

  • @brookyrocks676 Awesome!!!

  • this is bad ass!!!

  • I'm planning on doing this makeup look for tomorrow but have no idea what an easy diy outfit would be for this any simple tips/ideas? I'm trying to use things I might already have vs buying anything. Thx :)

  • i tried this and failed miserably. Haha but yours is amazing :D

  • you are ah-freaking-mazing <3

  • kool

  • defo useing this makeup on halloween!!! :D x

  • LOVE IT!! (:

  • What kind of music is in the background of this video?

  • @Rivers2353 It's royalty free music from incompetech (dotcom)

  • Respond to this video... I think it was called Child's song, or something like that...

  • I just wanna say I think you did an incredible job!! I used this video and another video to complete my look. THanks sooo much!!!!

  • *awesome*

  • wow...I'm really jealously..

  • hello i was wondering was all this done bye halloween make up you can bye in the store ?

  • You are so talented!!

  • wow this is so awesome! Youre really talented!

  • You should give people the time where the tutorial actually starts so we can skip the intro if we need to

  • @EmmaZombie Great suggestion! I added the time at the beginning of the video :)

  • wow!! this is incredible! what kind of paints did you use for the details?

  • @tmtkrunek I used Diamond FX :)

  • @lisajoyyoung thanks!! i have a dress that i am wearing but i just dont know what it is LOL its black and tattered and torn so i am stuck - zombie bride, zombie prom. dead doll AHHH so many options with just one out fit LOL

  • Both looks good!

  • Holy crap! I was wondering what you used for the staples- They look so 3D!! Wow.

  • @Kaydella007 Thank you!!!

  • Lisa I have a question please Answer me that I can apply on your face before painting so it does not drain as quickly with sweat

  • @esjcesar If you use grease paint (set with powder) instead of water activated makeup, it will be much more resistant to sweat :)

  • This looks friggin awesome. My only question is, what would you wear with something like this? Because I'm alwys too broke to buy costume stuff, which is why I tend to look for elaborate face makeup to make up for plainer clothing!

  • you are beautiful and your stitches are GREAT! i will be mooching off your idea, thank you so much :)

  • i loved it!

  • Hey, i just wanna ask, what did you do to make the blood? Please respond. Btw. GREAT VIDEO I WANNA TRY IT FOR MONDAY SO PLEASE RESPOND . :)

  • @2569naruto I used Mehron Stage Blood :)

  • Omg, that abseloutly AMZASIN! o.o

Loved it, thx alot for makin the halloween akeup easier! :'D

  • I dont know if its just me, but legit, when I saw the pictures in the beginning I thought you had used fake skin and actual staples or something for the stiches my GOODNESS they look so real, AMMMAZING work Lisa, as per usual :)

  • @LoadsOfMakeUp4You Thank you! xoxoxo

  • Next time, don't talk too much about yourself. I would have wanted to watch you put ALL the makeup on, not the before and after results. :I

  • Hi, what type of sponge is that?

  • @jilly4785 It's a face painting sponge. It's more porous than makeup sponges, which are too dense to hold the paint

  • What do you do for the rest of your body like the arms? I would love to do this for Halloween, but would need more information on the products you use and how to continue this technique for the rest of my body. :)

  • @LondynL I used Diamond FX makeup. The best advice I can give you for the rest of the body is to deeply shade anywhere a muscle or bone might be, and , of course, lots of patches of blood :)

  • Love this gonna try it for halloween

  • i'm really trying to do this on monday, when the Young Guns are having their concert in my hometown for halloween. ;oD

when doing that smile, did you also use the fake blood, or just red colour?

and do you think i can use normal liquid eyeliner for the black, or do i need a special black colour that lasts on skin longer, or better or anything like that?

  • @bestdamnalex The smile is just red face paint mixed with a little blue. I think normal liquid black eyeliner should work just fine :)

  • @lisajoyyoung alright. i'll try that. hope my face won't melt completely in that club. thank you! x

  • Thats really cool

  • all of your videos are AMAZING.

  • oh wow thank you so much this really helped make my costume look way more really amazing job keep them coming plzz

  • this is really good i made up my mind... i have been searching for something like this! thanks for sharing!!!!

  • que fina

  • how did you do the blood over your face? did you use a sponge??? would love to know thank youuu :D

  • @Sasharr1 I used Mehron Stage Blood and patted it onto my face with the brush that comes in the bottle :)

  • I will definitely do this look for Halloween.

It's exactly what I was searching for.

    Thanks a lot!

How long did it take you to do?

  • @DasGurki Great! I hope it turns out well :) It took me about 2 hours, but if I wasn't filming, it would probably take 45 minutes to an hour.

  • @lisajoyyoung NO COMMENT...SOO COOL

  • that make up is amazing!!! *-*

  • Oh my gosh! This isn't face painting! It's a piece of art! How can you bear removing it when you're done. You do awesome work! Thank you for sharing!

  • @Cmaentz Thank you so much! It definitely sucked to wash it all off after just minutes of finishing it! It would have been nice to have a party to wear it to that night :)

  • at 6:47 it looked like you where actually cutting your face lol

  • This is what i'm gonna be:D perfect!!!

  • You're hot.

  • how long did it take you to do ? :O

  • @t12n27 It took me about 2 hours, but filming REALLY slows down the process, so it would probably take 45 minutes to an hour if I wasn't filming it :)

  • So cute and evil <3

  • oi lisa ...por favor me responda qual tipo de tinta vc usa ????? seu trabalho é muito lindooo

  • U should do this professionally. Your work is great!

  • @16selene Sorry about that! My camera had run out of memory while I was doing the fake blood part and I didn't realize it wasn't recording :( Next time I use fake blood on a look I'll make sure the application process is actually being recorded!

  • @Sherida132 Thank you!

  • What kind of brush were you using to line the white stitches in black?? I have been having a hard time finding a really good detail brush. :)

  • @SeychelleK It was a #0 Grumbacher round brush :)

  • @lisajoyyoung Awesome! Thanks so much. I re-created this look today on one of the girls I know, and she loved it. Wish I would have had that brush though for the outlining. My lines were far far too wide. :)

  • Wow!!! One phrase... Gruesomely fantastic!!! Lol I look forward to practising on my adult Friends, who are big kids at heart!! Lol ;o)

  • For the eye with the gash under it I'm just guessing but did you cut some false eyelashes and only place them on the sides of the gash? but in the middle of the gash how did you camouflage the center bottom lashes? did you paint them red?

    Thanks!

  • @MissRuthless Yep :) I cute the fake eyelashes and put them on either side. Then, I painted right over my real eyelashes which helped them to blend in with the background.
