Zepplelin used much better equipment on the 73 tour than the 72 tour. I havent heard the Mothership yet, but it is supposed to be re-re-mastered. If it is better sound than the remastered Zep cd's, I will wait till the next Zep money ploy when/if they release all the cd's in the new format.
since "the song remains the same" went to dvd, this is the first time they have remastered it, and they should, i mean listen to the difference between HTWWO I and II and listen to TSRTS. HTTWW has a much better feel, louder, like you're there, TSRTS sounds too theatrical. you also have to realize that they are doing a reunion show, and it would make sense to piggyback off that hype i.e. xmas time

Uncle Jebb, you bring up an interesting quandary: if you release a recording, and you figure out a way to make it sound better and release it with better fidelity... and then you find yet ANOTHER improvement, should you release a third version? I personally want the highest fidelity but would appreciate them waiting a while to see if technology will move forward a little bit. Either that, or "patch" or CDs like Microsoft does with Windows! loll...
Well, it's like this Jebb, if ya don't want to buy 'em, don't. If ya do want to, go ahead. It's a free country, so I guess they can make as many of them thar remakes as they want. That's the way I sees it, anyway.
