Why do I feel that Hillary is lying through her teeth when she says that she supports registering women?

I don't want a draft of any sort, but if there is one, why SHOULD it be male only? Some of the arguments here are sickening, as if people think their genitalia entitle them to be protected at the costs of less worthy male lives. Most military roles are non-combat, there's plenty else to do, so you can't even use physical differences as an excuse. Again though to make it clear, I'm against a draft of any sort, but also against the sense of entitlement here.

Alot of people seem to be under the impression that people who are drafted are immediately thrown into a combat roll, that is simply not true. In fact, i think it was said that 95% of military work is NOT combat. So there is plenty else women could do in the army.

As a member of the armed service, I would say that your sister is an exception. Though I have never seen a man do 50 straight pullups. I would ask is she running at a 5 minute mile pace? With 80+ pounds on her back? Carry a 200+ lb shipmate whose wounded miles to safety? Thats what a SEAL must do. I have seen some extremely strong women where I am. They can be EOD, but rarely do they make it past the training. SEALs is a little harder than EOD.
