  • @rderaiche hey what kind of boss plow do you have?

  • @walkermowers1 7.6 straight blade cheapest one

  • @rderaiche Yes its the standard duty xlt f 250 diesel

  • the sound of the ejngine is just supernice!! its a diesel right?!

is it the 6.0 litre turbodiesel?

  • @Playa1sweet yes f250 Do you mean standard stick shift no auromatic

  • i like the 2003 models and up except for the new 2011 there REALLY quiet the 03 have the shorter chrome powerstroke diesel logo on the doo compared to the 02

  • 7.3 or 6.0 for a snow plow truck?

im leaning towards the 6.0 bc i hear it makes better bottom end.

im lookin to buy a used truck to start plowing next winter.

    advice would be sweet

  • well do you know if your going to plow lots or city roads?

  • @jrowe6 a 7.3 is a bit less complicated.

  • What brand of headache rack and lights do you have? Nice truck.

  • @vipersgoal20 Those look like Lightforce 170s

  • if his v plow is bending he needs to adjust his hydraulics. the only time they should bend is when it could cause damage to the mechanics of the plow

  • beautiful truck. Awesome.

  • Thanks it s a lot of money ,But when my lease comes due i m going to by it out

    expensive truck to by

  • @420MastaM yuk!BOSS ALL THE WAY!

  • ohh, what are you doing over seas?

  • I m a Diamond driller .Has to do with mining just waitting to return

  • @rderaiche thats sweet man hope you strike the hunnyhold

  • @rderaiche and what size is your plow 7"6"?

  • It s a 7.6 feet Right size for drive ways and on the road.I heard the v plow was not that good at breaking hard pack snow.Keeps bending at the seems Friend of mine has one and thats what he told me

  • @rderaiche so when you get back from over seas, will you be plowing for your town??bbecause hear in MA. if we want to plow for our town we need an 8foot plow

  • @rderaiche Ice, wet snow that has frozen, never had a problem with my V. Even dug up some blacktop a few times with no damage, just scratched the paint on the blade.

  • is that all you plow?

  • Im working this year over seas so i don t have much time to plow,More 4 a future investment

  • Nice...same as mine but i up graded mine to a 7.3 and mines a crew cab long bed!!nice truck!!

  • Nice truck a little big for the job

  • Its a nice truck man. and a nice plow. Its nice to see another ford out there working hard. Im looking at buying a 06 powerstroke and getting a plow for it.

  • Yes thankyou i love my truck and plan on keeping it a long time only has 28,000, and it s a 06 just got most off it re painted someone backed into me ,really looking dood now

  • you said the internationals are known for not lasting long? Weird. cause from what i know the 7.3 is one of the best lasting motors. We got one with 637 thousand on it....thats pretty long to me. and the 6.4 that international made got better gas millage then the new 6.7 cummins. Drove them both and seen for myself....so sorry but i think your totally wrong on that. our cummins died just right after 300 thousand.

  • I never said that I agree with you,someone

else said that to me i m very happy with it

  • dose boss make ant plows with wings?

  • cummings is most expensive,I had a 500 in my tractor trailor

  • Luv It I got a f150 lariat 5.4 man the fords r nice I hate dodge go ford go

  • i havea 97 f350 and there will always be the dodge ford battle but i do love the dodge power. although i have a ford the cummins is easy to tune and is very strong.

  • We ll i am changing the chip in mine wich should give me much more power and better fuel mileage.Did you try doing that must people that own a diesel do that

  • what size plow...8ft?

  • Its a 7.6 feet plow

  • cummins is a really good motor i had one in my tractor trailer, but i much prefer the f-250 its built a lot stronger and right now the biggest seller

  • ya cause their the cheapest

  • you can't beat a power stroke

  • they are the best my friend

  • worked where they install those at readyquip awesome plows thats why there the boss!!!

  • Do you plow in 4 low or 4high?

  • I plow in third hight and in second ,fourth gear is useless

  • Boss is the best i put mine in tought workout and nothing leaks and never had a issue the cylinder pump and the service is really good if you do have problems with it.manouvers really well

  • My neighbour got his pump replaced, and his plow is over 12 years old

  • I prefer cummins, the duramax have a lot of small issues

  • your 250 is a 5 speed huh?beautiful sounding and looking truck by the way

  • 4 speed automatic Doesn't work well when I have it in drive when plowing.I usually put in in a lower gear..

Thank you for the nice comments

  • is that why the engine is wroking so hard

  • thankyou

  • You have a really really NICE truck!!!!!

  • plowing is ease if you know what your doing and if you know were your edges are on the plow you dont have to worry about hitting anything

  • I was never worried about hitting anything,I love snowplowing and i m usualy in some tight spots

  • Honestly its a BOSS you will never have a failure

  • You will with a ford and powerstroke though

  • Have not had no problem with mine,I had a cummins in my tractor trailor good motor but very expensive to repair and you will pay ten grand more for a cummins for a pick up warranty is shit for cummins

  • Maybee you got a bad one, they don't have many issues

  • You got the 6.0 liter though, it's the 6.4 that is garbage

  • ok thanks

  • that was awesome where you just about took out the car by accident, but now you'll say "no, i was like trying to get close to it mate".

  • ya it was close but i new what i was doing

  • We ll i don t have a chain, but i guess it would work but i would just get it fixed, just for safety you know

  • ya exactly. but what i do with mine if the plow is broken i short chain the plow and bring in repair. thats what i do
