i like the 2003 models and up except for the new 2011 there REALLY quiet the 03 have the shorter chrome powerstroke diesel logo on the doo compared to the 02
It s a 7.6 feet Right size for drive ways and on the road.I heard the v plow was not that good at breaking hard pack snow.Keeps bending at the seems Friend of mine has one and thats what he told me
@rderaiche so when you get back from over seas, will you be plowing for your town??bbecause hear in MA. if we want to plow for our town we need an 8foot plow
@rderaiche Ice, wet snow that has frozen, never had a problem with my V. Even dug up some blacktop a few times with no damage, just scratched the paint on the blade.
Its a nice truck man. and a nice plow. Its nice to see another ford out there working hard. Im looking at buying a 06 powerstroke and getting a plow for it.
Yes thankyou i love my truck and plan on keeping it a long time only has 28,000, and it s a 06 just got most off it re painted someone backed into me ,really looking dood now
you said the internationals are known for not lasting long? Weird. cause from what i know the 7.3 is one of the best lasting motors. We got one with 637 thousand on it....thats pretty long to me. and the 6.4 that international made got better gas millage then the new 6.7 cummins. Drove them both and seen for myself....so sorry but i think your totally wrong on that. our cummins died just right after 300 thousand.
i havea 97 f350 and there will always be the dodge ford battle but i do love the dodge power. although i have a ford the cummins is easy to tune and is very strong.
We ll i am changing the chip in mine wich should give me much more power and better fuel mileage.Did you try doing that must people that own a diesel do that
Boss is the best i put mine in tought workout and nothing leaks and never had a issue the cylinder pump and the service is really good if you do have problems with it.manouvers really well
Have not had no problem with mine,I had a cummins in my tractor trailor good motor but very expensive to repair and you will pay ten grand more for a cummins for a pick up warranty is shit for cummins
That 6.0 is the beast.

if his v plow is bending he needs to adjust his hydraulics. the only time they should bend is when it could cause damage to the mechanics of the plow
