  • I worked at Harkins for nearly two years, and this scene sums up the experience of working in a movie theatre to a T.

  • ah good this is the scene i wanted to see...love the internet

  • Just thinking, If Enid & Daria could have a child...

  • yeeeaaahhh lemme have lots of butter on it

  • \m/

  • well isn't she such a rebel..ooooo... there's a difference between being a rebel and being flat out ignorant. she deserved to get fired

  • @geddoe316

Hahaha, get over it, it's a movie. And I don't see what is ignorant about the way she talks. It's just overly frank.

  • @geddoe316 thats kind of a big point of the movie. you know, growing up and respecting authority and not just fucking around because you're a sixteen year old with a record collection and you know better than everyone else.

  • @geddoe316

I think the point is that Enid is an intellectual who is too cognizant for a meaningless position as a monkey for a large corporation that thrives on profits at the expense of honesty. For the most part she's conflicted about assimilating to the bullshit that customer service thrives on. In other words, she's too honest with herself to contort to the mold of the world around her.

  • I liked this movie and i laugh pretty hard in that scene. Thanks for posting!!

  • medium? why, sir...

  • I love this theater scene!

  • here you go smothered in delicious yellow chemical sludge

  • this movie rock my mind!!! go seymour, go!!!

  • "What? I was just joking around with the customers, it's my schtick."

    Enid rules.

  • SO TRUE!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this movie and Enid is my girl i love her...

  • Having worked in retail, it IS sleazy how retail's all about pushing for sales and not letting the customer have what they want. Right now, I'd probably be fired after one minute, because like Enid, there's no way I'm gonna take this kinda crap!!!

  • LMFAO "SHEEZIS" "what kind of loser gets fired on their first day?"

  • I work at a movie theater, so I can relate to this on so many levels. This scene cracks me up every time! haha

  • o dios mio es meg de padre de familia.

o my god is meg from famili guy.

    xdddddd

  • is it me or thora birch looks incredibly hot in this movie?

  • no, it is not just you. and all the different tight-fitting outfits makes her look f'n great

  • amen to that brother...

  • @dacrimsonmask13 It's not just you, I find her stunningly hot!

  • @dacrimsonmask13 It's not just you, it's all true, she's hot.

  • Why sir, do you not know that for a mere 25 cents more you could purchase a large beverage?

  • I'm pretty sure her co-worker is Summer's boyfriend in Napoleon Dynamite.

  • Actually I was wrong. Eh

  • I thought he was too. It reminds me of him alot. and that annoying shamwow guy on tv.

  • he was actually in the fake boy group

2Gether made by mtv, hes hilarious in it

  • ASHAHAHAHAHAHAH

is that the guy from S club 7?!??!

    duddddeeee

  • he's from 2gether

  • this movie was so freakin hilarious!

  • I worked in a restaurant for a while - a brief while but boy was it torturous - and my manager had the exact same thing to say for everything. "Those are the rules! Don't question, don't argue". And, of course, "I'm the manager, I don't have to listen to you."

It served the shittiest food ever. But, fucking assholes have to feel great about their good for nothing jobs. After all, we leave him in a few weeks working part time and he's the one rotting for life.

  • He will get aids when he date rapes her! Awesome

    I love this movie.

  • Joey Mc Kobb is our god.

  • i want to do him

I bet! Actually reminds me of that one creep you went out with. That one skinny guy who dressed like he was from the fourties...

    Shut up!

  • I worked in a movie theater and this scene is classic and 100% true. I could make comments about the movie and we had to push the larger size popcorn and upsell even if i was not in agreement. This is a great scene and should be used in traing classes for movie theater employees of what NOT to do..

  • This video skips a few crucial lines in the scene. You should redo it and re-upload it. However, this is my favorite scene in the movie so thanks! :)

  • I watched this movie back when I was in highschool and I worked at a movie theatre at the time and I watched it right before starting my shift....that night I laughed my ass off everytime I served popcorn.

  • best movie ever! and subUrbia..i wish that was on DVD..

  • best clip from the movie!

  • they edited parts of this out. in the actuall movie shes a total bitch to that last guy

  • I actually work at a movie theater and think of this scene all the time. Especially when sick people order butter (read: butter-flavored topping).

  • Yeah seriously! I do too and I hate people who ask for extra layered butter...whatever that stuff is, it's not normal. It makes the most disgusting sound when you squeeze it out...my manager is also always on my case about upselling.

  • I thought this was the funniest scene in movie....she's so grossed out by the butter.

  • lmao. i love the shuddering noise she makes.

  • I want a yellow and black shirt like theirs.

  • Go, Enid!!!!

  • lol i would not even screw that job up just so i could work everyday with alex solowitz hes hilarious

  • i know thats right

  • i saw it last night..its great:D

  • Hahah! She's so honest, and real - but that's what makes her a bad business person.

  • i agree with you.that´s hilarious.i love thora,such a good actress

  • Best movie i´ve ever seen
