  • Thumbs up if you were grooving to the music, daddy-o!

  • Did you see that the Professor was the template for Homer Simpson?

  • I think Mike Mercury is a Smite. Didyou get a load of the size of his Shnozzola? Did you notice theTemp Guage which smokes when it gets hot?

  • A F P ha ha thats after A P FILMS who made the series.

  • One of my fondest television memories as an American kid in the early-1960s was Supercar. A very BIG thanks from this Yank to Gerry Anderson and his crew for making this truly fantastic show. SUPERCAR FOREVER !

  • @StudebakerHawk57 Me too! What he said!

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • amazing, it even had a radio altimetre...

  • I still know all the words to the theme tune! Unfortunately, I can't remember what I did yesterday!

  • who was mike mercury patterned after? my guess is Peter Cushing.

  • @diddymuck It was the singer Michael Halliday who sang the the songs for Four Feather Falls. He had some chart success in the UK in the late fifties/early sixties. He took his own life a couple of years after supercar was shown.

  • Awesome. Thanks

  • I remember watching Supercar as a kid.

    I loved it.

I still have my Supercar stuff from back then.

    What memories.

    Thank you.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • the combination of detailed sets and models, great lighting and great music achieved in supercar would continue with successive Anderson productions
