  • Why don't you just download BRRiP movies and then transfer them to your PS3.

  • OMG HDDVDs thats old scool :>

  • But think about it, if no one wants them, they'll be cheaper.

  • its egactly the same.

the only reason why they arent around any more is sony bought out the hddvd format so it no more movies were made with that any more.

  • pretty cool, i wouldnt buy it probley ever because i dont like movies on my small monitor, but its still pretty cool, lol, i like LG

  • i got an internal bu ray and hd dvd drive for 100

  • good deal, where did you get it at? thanks for the info...

  • "step into the futor!" with something very advance. but still using USB... AUGH! something as BIG as blurays and HD-DVDs i wouldn't even want to imagen that useing USB... that must take forever and a day to copy/burn/rip from that thing. you would think it would at least have E-sata ill just wait tell i see one with more then USB interface

  • Indeed, USB is slooooooow

  • you advertising something thats not available anymore, you just posted this video yesturday and its not available anymore, whats up with that ?

  • it is im watching it now...

  • it might be now but when i checked at all the places he said to check out it said it wasnt available anymore, where did you get yours from ?

  • Watch HD Movies/store Data--> U need bluray disc. These cost . Alot.

Instead, HD Movies = Apple TV

    Storing Data = External HDD

  • You are right. Cheaper combination Acer aspire revo nettop with the new nvidia ion platform and it plays 1080p video.

  • lol what a waste of money... it's called "streaming"! ;)

  • blu ray is awsome....

  • no one wants a blu ray downloading and digital media is new king.... physical is gone.

  • Blu-ray is awesome when your internet connection sucks.....

    Best picture quality by far

  • It may be awesome looking but really not worth the cost i mean i download everything now days and i really like that i can be anywhere in my house and watch my videos in 720p

  • less then 400 on newegg that a steal

  • just buy a 1tb hard drive

  • no ESATA?

  • I dont think it can write fast enough and they didnt want to put a buffer inside

  • Blue ray is loaded with DRM, it's not worth it.

  • If the prices of the media won't match DVDs... there's no real reason to go for such a burner. Unless you don't care about cost per byte.

  • if blue ray can bring down it's price, I may consider getting the writers/readers. Dude, TOO EXPENSIVE!!! Also it takes way too long to burn stuff. Get a portable harddrive! 100 bucks u can buy a 1TB of storage, divide it up, 1 buck = 10 GB, it's obvious which one is more affordable.

  • yeah I agree. DVDs took a little while to come down in price and Im still going to hold off on BluRay for a little while

  • BD-R is a scam

  • What would I want a Blu-Ray Burner for though? A single Blu-Ray disc can hold my fucking hard drive, that's why I ask.

  • You only have a 25GB HD?

  • 40GB.

  • how much is it?

  • good question. easy answer: get a portable external Hard Drive It wont take 30 minutes to burn a 25gb disc.

  • well ps3's aren't selling good but that is an advantage

  • still TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! T_T

  • I don't like the DRM that comes with Blu-ray. DRM cripples your PC and even Macs too.

  • USB, is this fast enough... bring on eSATA

  • could you plug that usb into a tv and would the tv recognize it?

  • I highly doubt it but still you might want learn some more, why not just by a bluray player not like you can burn from your tv

  • price

  • Blu ray won of course because Sony made it.

  • That didn't help them when they made Betamax.

  • I hate lg drives 3 have broken down on me do not get one

  • shits sweet!

  • i have got my bluray burner 2years ago

  • how much do they hold?

  • blu-ray discs usually hold 60GB

  • good god...!

  • 25GB and 50GB Dual layer

  • wish it was internal also.... oh well
