@Phrantix08 do not get a brass eagle. i had one when i first started paintball and it was terrible. and choosing a gun depends on how much you are willing to spend. get either a jt stealth, a spyder or a tippman. they're all good guns.

as for people complaining about getting shot that close. In woodsball you dont have much of a choice as there is no referees to call someone out for a mercy shot. More often than not they spin and shoot you. My friend tom has not learned that lesson yet. best to just shoot them in the pods or the shoes to get a guarenteed painless break.

I have a great a-5 and i can tell you the most important upgrade would be either an E-grip or response trigger 9depending on what your confortable with) then next a techT vortex (costs about $50 american) which will push your BPS to about 30bps up from 15 lol on level with tourney guns but way cheaper. After that a good 3 peice barrel kit which costs about $80 to make your shot grouping more tight.
imo shooting ppl from that close is completly fair, long as u dont aim for head... i mean back,chest doesnt hurt... and if they are that dumb to let u get that close they deserve to be shot...
also... if u rush up and dont get hit u got balls and deserve to shoot some bitches

They come running up and the balls are landint 5 feet in front of me, then I have my gun blaring at them and keep the behind cover for the entire game... $2000 beat by $500 ;)
Out range??? do u know what ur talking about?? markers all have to be set to a certain limit. In England the limit is 280fps. Different guns are more expensive for a reason, i personally have a PM6 and i know for a fact that its not going to be outdone by any Tippman. Please Get a clue before u comment!
lol - ok, I've only read this comment maxi... but although velocity setting is the most dominant factor in range, remember the flatline and apex barrel systems are designed to manipulate ball spin to carry the ball a little differently... I'm using a 98C with a flatline (also in UK), playing at Mayhem, Essex sometimes...
Usually (not always) better guns mean a higher rate of fire in paintball... besides, my flatline has great range, but isn't so hot on accuracy beyond 40-50 feet and a lot of time, as most fields are built around the effective range of a normal marker I find myself wishing that I had a fast-firing, low-recoil, easy to swing about electronic marker :)
A marker is a marker. They might be stupid for bringing something that blings (therefore making them easy to see), but that's about the only "stupid" thing one can do. And you can get camo tape and stuff like that to fix that, easily.

Moves like that get you banned from playing in scenario/woods tournies.

rock hoppers dont "block" the sights on tippmanns or most woodsball/scenarioball guns since the hoppers are set on the right side of the gun
