  • Hey YouTube: You show us a 30 second commercial followed by a 60 second video. A sense of proportion... please!

  • blah blah blah this is crap

  • NDAA is worst yet!

  • Capitalism is an economic system. What is the principle of this economy? A small class is getting richer, and an ever-increasing layer is getting poorer and it's getting worse. America belongs to the banks. The banks have the power. It's obvious that you always warns that socialism is evil and un-American. What is un-American? The do what the capitalists. They are getting richer at our expense, and from what they give? I can not afford health insurance, althought I work minimum 12 hours a day.

  • @ILoveUsAinAllway Ask yourself why the middle and working classes are becoming poorer and why investors, board members and CEO's are getting richer, don't just point the finger at the rich guy because he is rich. It's to do with highly embedded corruption, fiat money, the outsourcing of jobs, the de-regulation of financial services, over taxation e.c.t. Socialism is an economic fallacy in itself, by taxing the productive you eliminate production.

  • @XpEAnUTBuTtERsUckSX

I don't poin my finger on the rich.

I am not envy the rich. Many Americans work for low wages. And they work hard. Rich are getting richer and they pay little in taxes. Some do not know how to spend the money and others can not afford much. College, medical insurance, pension, education .... We can not afford. A car and a house you get on credit. Then you're a slave to debt. But you also want to have something in the land of the rich and famous.

  • @ILoveUsAinAllway Why is this happening though? You are ignorant of the causes, you (like many others) seem to think that hacking away at a symptom of this great economic disease will solve the underlying problem. I agree with you about the working\middle classes being shit on whilst the top 0.1% become richer and richer (who wouldn't), my point is that it is part of a far greater problem and importantly the vast majority of people are ignorant of economics or monetary policy so they scapegoat.

  • @XpEAnUTBuTtERsUckSX

Banks Governance us. We are enslaved by debt and the interest rates they earn very much money. This money must be prepared by someone. One day they can not work anymore, because the money is infinitely more. The government has been under the control no longer 1913th The Fed controls the printing of money. It was one of the times has changed briefly, until he was shot. It was JFK. So Obama is a coward.

  • @ILoveUsAinAllway Well done.

  • The anti Union add is bullshit. The Unions cant take your money and donate it without the members saying they can. In the Union I am in we can opt out.

  • As a Canadian outsider regarding American politics, my observation which is shared by many here and in Europe, is that your 2 political parties are stale. Why not nurture some new ones to keep the old ones in check or surpass them. It's democratic process and it stirs things up and keeps politicians more honest. We always had Liberal and Progressive Conservative parties but The New Democratic Party just trounced the Liberals in the last federal election. They crushed the French seperatists too.

  • @Jay435 because then the wrong lizard might win

  • @macarion I'm no expert on the subject but I feel that there should be some kind of evolution for the federal parties otherwise this quagmire that congress is bogged down in will never change. It all seems dysfunctional on a grand scale. A bold new image that relates to the American middle class and doesn't want any part of the 2 existing parties would make them change their collective underwear but fast if he/she had the peoples' ear. Imagine it macarion.

  • @Jay435 the only solution is to change our system of voting from "first past the post" to something better like range voting or proportional representation

this would also make canada's government better (unless you're a conservative)

  • @Jay435

I used to think other developed democracies, besides the US, were smarter, because when I was in graduate school they were always talking to that effect.

But then I signed a job offer in Australia and really learned the hard way. I literally got fired, f-off and don't come back, for having a non-contaigous medical condition.

  • @Jay435 yeah right, like the canadian system is a real democracy... Come on! Be real!... Make it 25 partys, you will still have corporations who will buy the politicians pute ready to sell themselves. This system is well and alive in Canada wich, by the way, is turning into a police state quiet rapidly these days. There is NO democracy, it never even existed, only in theory, communism too. A system of party is not democrary at all... Wake up dude!

  • seems a bit odd to focus so much on the figurehead (president) when it's quite clear that the government is run in the background by numerous "special interests"...yet we do it over and over again...that presidents play a role is clear...but that others play a more central role in policies should also be clear and further investigated...the idea any president is the sole brainchild and initiator of any policy/initiative is a convenient and simplistic distraction which acts as a huge blind-spot..

  • Obama sure turned out to be a dissapoinment, to say the least. America is no longer a democratic republic. It's a corporatocracy that's of, by, and for the rich. It's time for a real revolution.

  • Comment removed

  • What's the election strategy of the two main parties?

    Blame each other for everything.

Get as much money as possible.

Do as little work as possible.

And for the neocons? Be as racist as possible to get rid of Obama without getting caught using the N-word and then losing your job.

  • I am not pleased with Obama..I voted for him. I wished he closed Gutanamo Bay. He said he would! The US has never needed places to torture in it's history, its a disgrace to the founding fathers, we've become in a lot of ways things we tried to protect us from. With jobs, the corporations have sold us out, moved a lot of good jobs overseas..outsourcing can be the end of the middle class, we have to start making our own products. it starts small, buy local produce and relying on ourselves.

  • I agree totally with Chris Hedges. Obama is a complete disaster and in every day that passes, more and more disappointments surface. Obama must be put to pasture irrespective.

  • Too bad that Hedges is talking about conservatives in the same breath. Huh baggers?

  • These days our choices are between Spineless and Brainless. Both have trouble with the central nervous system because that function isn't necessary with corporate controls dictating their policies.

  • @drchaffee The choice is between cancer and AIDS. Anyone wanna bargain or compromise with either? We must eliminate both.

  • Truest words never heard....democracy is dead...plutarchy, is in.

  • @Icix1

America was not conceived as a Democracy. It was, however, birthed as a REPUBLIC!!

  • @VeryHugeAss you must smoke crack

  • @rickbar123 I am practicing being a Liberal douche bag, I was laughing the whole time I wrote all that bullshit.

  • @VeryHugeAss Why don't you stick to just being a douche bag? Go with your true nature.

  • @VeryHugeAss

no i am sure chris does not hate obama.

i am sure he is just sad that the man called barry born in africa is not only a complete disaster but has killed just as many brown as the honky bush family.

i am sure chris is depressed and sad that a cia bozo wall street stooge like obama could have given away the future resources and added trillions too the trilions of bush debt.

obama is just the new boss same as the old one only this killer has a nobel peace prize.

  • Frankly, I'm lost...I used to think I had a good grip on what's is going on, but it's all falling apart right in front of my eyes. Dems, reps, global powers - either they all loosing control or never had it in the first place, passing a wishful thinking for reality for decades upon decades. What's next?
