@Larry2010B I have a newer video going up in a few weeks. First one cut of short, We had a super crappy camera to record on and where it cut off was all the space the camera had on it's internal memory. I'll be doing a newer video here soon. One with these singles again and another with doubles w/v-bar.
Well we have sets with a locker (3) that we use to tighten them up so I dont use bungees but you can make your own with an old inner tube cut into stips and twist a peice of metal in each end..Normally ya dont need bungees on a properly installed set of chains
Yeah I just was always taught to use bungees. But normally the chains don't move very much with the bungees on. So next time I'll try with out them I might not really need them. Thanks for the input. Plus I'm going to try to get a few more videos of our routes. :)
Well it's what the company supplied me with. And I have done this in nearly the same amount of time with one side in a snowbank. * of course after a bit of shoveling * Plus this video was mainly set up for the rest of my fellow Best Buy home delivery drivers. Some were complaining it was taking them 30-40 min to chain up. I wanted triples but the corporation wouldn't go for it.
30-40 Miins to put on 2 singles?? Good deal you made that vid.. we put on 4 sets of triples in less time..but we chain up nearly every day so we are practiced lol
Yeah once you know how to chain up. It's a snap. Hey since you chain up far more often then I do. What do you recommend for bungees for the outer part of the tire? The Home Depot ones I have are ok but I have broken many of them.
hey genius how about showing how they hook up or tighten since any moran knows how to drape them over a tire.

Plus my video cut out a bit early on us due to a very small SD card in the camera we borrowed from the store.
