yes, i have patapon 1 and 2 and when you load your current game into the second it just takes the memory from the first game and gives it in the second game, example.

you have 10 pieces of mithril in the 1st game, youll get the same amount in the 2nd game without taking it out of the first game, you cannot transfer any armor/weapons/miracles/drums/m­inigames over. you can only transfer data once.

See the one thing I trully dislike about this game isn't the game itself.

Its the fact tha to play this game you need to downloadit. No NA release on umd. So if your memory card isn't large enough or no wireless access or ps3 you're outa luck.

The game may be great, but how many loose out on getting it?

Insomniac is probably the best developer by far...they dab in everything from Resistance 2 (the best console FPS to date...don't argue it is...based on features and balances) and games like this Patapon 2....they also support their games well...Zipper is probably second best with Socom....and soon MAG....although the second spot is more of a toss up Bungie is an amazing support community however they essentially have one series...so it could be second place as well...not sure really

Ok name a better CONSOLE FPS...Ohh wait you can't online co-op multiplayer, TDM, a CODish kill-->point system, and good squad basis for playing with friends/clan...a large variety of modes....good graphics....balanced weapons....and ability and class systems (for comp and co-op respectively)

There is no other FPS on consoles that offers that much in the game...

I am guessing you didn't play the game...its not my personal favourite..hell I like KZ2, Haze, Gears, Halo 3 more...but R2 is the best
