  • Another Fantastic and in depth review Nightflyer. Thankyou very much for your Experience and effort in creating your range of videos.

As I have finally had enough of the Random Error's without explanation with Realflop G5.5, and this video has been very informative and interesting. I will definately have to give it a look.

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to watching many of your videos to come. You are Mr RC in my books.

  • The physics engine in RF6 is MUCH better. Dont worry, anything this thing has Real Flight will come out with real soon!!!!!!!

  • The website of this simulator is very suck. Im just trying to buy this games, but I cant find any way. Someone help me?

  • The graphics are so good!!!

  • Can you use a Mac for the easy version?

  • How must be controller for airplanes?

    And for helicopters?

    Thanks

  • wow the graphics are amazing! probally too amazing for my computer (especially at 10:18)

  • hello, can you please answer my question, will this game work ok with these specs. Imac 2.66 ghz intel core 2 duo 4 gb ram and 256 mb of vram

  • 15:34 Forever alone....

  • I have AeroFly Deluxe Pro but i can't find the multiplayer option in the menu's anywhere?

How can i connect with others to fly multiplayer?

  • Not into RC stuff Dave but so fascinating! Got hooked by this cutting-edge software. FlightGear could learn a lot about scenery too, great San Fran GG Bridge! Not editing out the crashes was a good move and you sure don't need FRAPS, it's almost HD!

  • hey nightflyer,,as you know im in total agreement with aerofly being the best available,,,my question is two part,,,first did ikarus adress the dongle burnout issue ,,they had with afpd? second can one download planes and sceneries like other areofly versions?

  • would you say this is the most realistic rc simulator in existance? (that one can buy).

  • @megamindstorm101 Realflight G5.5 is the most realistic recreation of rc flight ever!

  • @Joseph4Lakers cool

  • can y download this?

  • is this like flight simulator where you can fly anywhere in the world?

  • I want it!! but i can't afford it, plus i live in south america... the only thing i don't like till now is the nuclear bomb sound the models make when you crash

  • I have on my computer a Radeon HD 4670, will that work? It's 20 off of 4650 haha, not sure if that means anything. Thanks!

  • absolutely stunning! Great vid... looks almost real! I will buy for sure!

  • If I want to get a simulator, but don't want to pay full price for Aerofly 5, would you recommend Aerofly Pro Deluxe? I suppose what I'm asking is do I lose any simulation quality by buying Pro Deluxe now and upgrading to 5 later?

  • good fly

bist du der nightflyyer vom rcforum??

  • bist du auch der nightflyyer vom rcforum???

    wenn ja, gutes englisch...

  • awesome

  • awesome i have rc plane master and it's good

  • so cool!

  • sorry, i didnt buyy aerofly.

i better like rise of flight

  • Merry Christmas Dave & Jeff. May God bless you both and your families and of course your NightFlyyer vids. They are the best!!!

  • That looks extra realistic!

  • only thing missing is if only there was some more moving stuffs in the back ground like for example at the lake, maybe some boaters, runners, fishermans.

at the park maybe cars, people , pets... the point is to make it really REAL ..

i know it might slow down the sim, but it's just cool.

the next best thing i can think of for this program is the ablility to input your very own back ground ... that would be soooo sweet, then you can fly any time any where.

  • Another great video dave... tell me how is the autorotation and torque roll training segments?

  • Does the pilot have control over flaps and retracts?

  • I must be blind.. How much is it? and where can i buy it?

  • hey how much is it for just the software

  • How do you delete tweaked planes from your hanger in Aerofly Pro Deluxe? I messed with some things I shouldn't have and now half my custom planes have no fuselage and the other half freeze up my computer every time I try to load them!

  • very nice vid. looks like those graphics and flight characteristics are pretty good!

  • Cool, I never heard of this sim. I thought it was a toss up between real flight and phoenix for the title of best sim. Currently I'm still using FSone, older computer.

  • Only thing missing is exhaust, that Raptor .50 didn't leave any smoke. The tradeoff is that the nitro engine sound in Aerofly is the best anywhere. It is also clear that Ikarus has stepped up their game with this one, I'm starting to have second thoughts about buying RFG5, but I can't get over AF's lack of smoke and of water landing physics. Overall, I'd say the quality of this sim bridges the gap between Realflight and FS One. But, I'll be sticking with G4.5 for a while, I has no money. lol

  • @NitroJunkie626 Of course it has exhaust. I just turned it off.

  • @NightFlyyer I thought of that possibility, but for some reason I just assumed that Aerofly lacked the exhaust effect. Sorry about that.

  • @nightflyyer Oh man sorry Dave I called you Jeff, I have my head in the clouds

  • @nightflyyer hey Jeff I was curious if you have ever built a plastic airplane model? I recently began a p-51d after working on some model cars anyways enjoy flying!

  • Gotta love the aircraft carrier take off and landing, awesome...

  • Great review, Dave. I have Clearview and like it but the scenery graphics in this version of Ikarus are awesome.

  • LOOKS AWESOME! Nice flyin. Great vid!

    Admire all your works.

TRY FRAPS. It'll do the graphics justice. It records video from your graphics display and saves it as a .avi file....

  • @EVILWeaz3L Thanks, except I cant talk or use the mouse.

  • @NightFlyyer

you can choose to record the mouse or not with fraps

and as for the microphone, you could have another software record that and then just video edit it in.

  • full flaps takeoff?

  • rather cool, shame there isn't animation for elevators, ailerons, rudder etc.

  • @rele30 Look carefully. The control surfaces are animated.

  • @rele30 Are you kidding. All the surfaces move, there is smoke and exhaust I can turn on or off. Even the shocks and landing gear is animated. Better check again.

  • awesome,. thanks for review my friend. its a great one. I might get one

  • it would seem with that much video ram and ram needed that it would have better water simulation when landing on water no ripples or even a wake behind the plane

  • Impressive!!!

  • I would like the ability to build my own planes or ideas and test fly them.

  • @minfinger You can. There is a whole section on their website to develop the planes and flying sites. Try it. Good luck. ~NightFlyyer~

  • How much it cost ??

  • Awesome graphics!

  • RealFlight is much more realistic. Ikarus has no crash effects. Looks like Wii game. Just my opinion. Tried it in the store, very easy.

  • @jauchiu Well your entitled to you opinion. What store did you try A-5 in since it is so new? By the way, you can dial up everything from CG, weight, control throws, engine power, etc. So if you think it is easy, you certainly have all the options to make it harder to fly even. Also, it has great crash effects, and sounds which can be turned on, up length of crash etc, so I am surprised at your comment.

  • @NightFlyyer I tried it at our LHS, you are probably right about it being set on easy. I did not mess with any of the settings. When a helicopter crashed , it just bounced off the ground with no visible damage. Again probably was not set up properly.

  • Excellent vid Dave, the sim looks really great, lots of very useful features and models, and very nice realistic looking graphics. Thanks for this =)

  • Nice video Dave .... I have the Kyosho Cap 232 just like the one on there .... 10 years old and never flown ;o)... it will one day

    Vince

  • definatly one of the longer vids you made..great sim it really is but the person hand launching it looks really funny....lol cant wait for what you do next!!!!!! oh and it must feel ausome having so many people looking to you for.......anything rc really

  • hi night flyer does it have cars too?does it have a cad where you modify the aircraft?

  • Very cool sim! I really should get one but I also need a TX. Thanks for sharing!

  • I am curious about the reversed trims, are you flying mode2 with the trims swapped over to the other stick side?

Is there a story about this, maybe another video idea?

  • if only flying rc in real life was this easy

  • @ 6:34 The Columbia helicopter. Cool! I drive by Columbia Helicopter everyday on my way home from work. On occasion, I get to see one of those coming in or taking off. Pretty impressive. At any given moment there is usually three of them sitting out. In fact, my neighbor across the street from me works there. She designs the instrument panel layouts

Im going to hav eto look into this sim! Thanks Dave

  • Thanks Dave for another awesome review of yet another awesome Simulator Aerofly 5

Looks pretty impressive, I currently use ClearView and this new ver Aerofly 5 looks even better than Pheonix and around the same cost,

Need to save some pennies for this after I get my New Heli!

  • Wow very nice. Looks like a well worth upgrade. I have AFPD and love it. This here looks amazing and may have to grab it. So with the added realism when you fly on the sim do you fly Standing up? LOL

  • Well i have pheonix that does my needs but this one looks to be a great contender .

  • I have AFPD and Realflight 4.5 (and some others like Clearview and Phoenix) which I also like a lot and . Both are really great for training during winter. I may try this A-5 version later on because it really looks very nice. Thanks for sharing Dave, I wish you long and happy flying hours while snow is piling up again LOL !

  • Thanks Dave!

I've been looking for a decent simulator that runs on a Mac for some time now - and this looks like IT! Can't see if they make a demo version though, but that would be nice.

Do you know if it works with Spektrum DX6i?

    Cheers, Jon.

  • Is this really much better than the G5.5?

  • @UtRadioGuy For ME, yes, I like it better. You may not, but if you fly the P40 or other warbirds ( like you do your own Corsair), you will see for yourself, plus the cockpits are realistic, like the one you made...which is fantastic, btw. Happy flying.

    ~NightFlyyer~

  • @NightFlyyer - Thanks you for your reply and comment on the cockpit I built for my Corsair.

  • This is way better than Realflight, I want one for when it rains. I have to get a job for this... sad face.

  • fantastic!

  • This sim looks -too- good! I used to think my FS1 was pretty decent. Can't believe a sim that good can work on a P4 and 1Gig of RAM. Bet the graphics card has to be a monster to run it.

My lappy has an Athlon X2 64, 3Gigs or RAM and and some sort of ATI graphics. Bet I still can't run this worth anything. I'd need a new PC to go with it.

  • @TheWingflyer The graphics card, as I showed in the video is not really a monster.. Simply an ATI Radeon with 1gig memory on that....under $80! If you think it looks good here with me aiming my Canon Elph camera at it, you will not believe the realism. Also in the video I show as screen that allows me to turn down the graphics, so it will run on low Performance computers, but of course that defeats, waves, shadows, trees blowing, etc in the scenery. But the flying feel still feels the same.

  • great!!

  • That is one awesome looking simulator!

  • When I saw the A380 I laughed to myself because I wanted to see the engine burst into flames

  • Very nice

  • SO DO U THINK Aerofly 5 IS MORE BETTER THEN REALFLIGHT G5.5

  • @fredtrae357 Depends on what you want. I like planes that really look real and the feel of a real flying experience. RF is a great program, (try it at any hobby store) but I like A-5 best.

By the way, you can install BOTH SIMS on your computer and fly what ever you want to when ever you want to.

Your not replacing anything, just adding more fun. Thanks. ~NightFlyyer~

  • I have RealFight 4 and I'm very impressed with Aerofly's graphics...

  • @michaeld747 Me too. I have never seen anything this realistic before. Thanks for your comment. ~NightFlyyer~

  • for some reason aerofly seems to easy and a little less challenging then actually flying. i prefer realflight

  • @RcUniverseGuy Haha. To each his own. I have them both plus 6 other brands. I have extensively flown the latest RFs at the hobby store and it is quite obvious to me that A5 is as real as flying the real planes, while using real planes and places. Just because I can fly very smooth, doesn't mean it is easy. I just make it look easy. It is easy to adjust the planes to make them even harder to fly, etc. so crank up the horsepower! What version # of Aerofly 5 do you have? ~NightFlyyer~

  • wow, nice vid, man. I started rc flying because of ur videos. Thank u!

  • @bobmaxiao Thanks kindly. I appreciate your support. Happy flying. ~NightFlyyer~

  • Very impressive graphics and scenery. Details on all the models are excellent. I thought RealFlight and Phoenix were the only two top dogs of the RC sims. Thanks for the demo of this simulator.

  • Call the ball, Dave. And flying below the hard deck.

  • @23mag23 I was trying to get up a bit higher, but airspeed was quite low, and was almost into a stall just before I crossed the deck, but I still couldn't save it. In this program, you have to learn how to land or the planes break. It is good, as that is the way it is in real life. Landings must be perfect. Of course, nothing is 100%, so that is why I elected to leave that scene in the Vid. Other programs would have let it land it just fine. Thanks for your comments. Semper Fi ~NightFlyyer~

  • @NightFlyyer Is Aerofly 5 free?

  • @MyFaceHole In the movie I mention what I paid for it. It is not Free. Anything worth getting is not free.

  • Tell them you want a nightflyer mode Dave

  • @ps3fanboy61 Haha. Actually I can change the sun from morning to night and have already been night flying, so they already were thinking "NightFlyyer". LOL. Thanks kindly for your comment.

  • I have a MAC and I fly with the AFPD and I can't wait to upgrade to Areofly 5. I have learned so much from my Aerofly Sim. I have been flying for two years now and I have progressed a ton from using this product plus I can use my DX7 transmitter with the Aerofly. I have a question if I upgrade to Aerofly 5 will I still be able to use my AFPD? I like some models on that program that were not included in the Aerofly 5 program. Can you switch between both programs? Thanks for the review.

  • @photobart1 Yes, both my programs run like 2 separate programs. Thanks for the comments.

  • you should get hypercam u can record ur screen without recording ur screen with a camera

  • @Womenftw12345 Like I said in the video, those recorders do not let me use my mouse to select anything, talk, or hear my transmitter trim beats. and also slow down the frame. This is the real FPV deal. Thanks.

  • Great video, keep it up.

  • This looks amazing! I want to buy it now...the graphics are incredibly detailed, and the pilot is amazing. Keep em coming, Dave.

  • Nice looking Lou Andrews Aeromaster! I still have an original I still fly!

  • @rebel937 Aha! Love to hear about old Aeromasters. Thanks and am glad your still flying. ~NightFlyyer~

  • You were right. That is very cool. You are the Man!

  • @BryansFlyin Thanks Byran. Now come on up and fly.

  • very very cool

  • DO WANT. FSOne is now aging really fast. want to upgrade. will this simulator work as a good replacement?

  • @f14fan1243 In my opinion, there is no question about it being an additional sim you will love, as you can still fly your FSone if you feel like it.~NightFlyyer~

  • GREAT video!!! It didnt snow here in Des Moines. Rates!

  • By the way, are there updates for more areas?

  • @tostrong4you Yes. I uploaded the latest patch and wound up with about 6 more machines and flying areas. It is so new, that they are now working on that full force too. Plus, you can create your own, and post them on Aeroflys website and others can download it to use. Thanks. ~NightFlyyer~

  • @NightFlyyer Sweet, deffinetly on my wish list.

  • I want this!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ur the BEST rc'er i have ever known awsome videoes!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @plane1233 Your very kind. thank you.

  • @NightFlyyer No problem 4 such a great man...

  • @plane1233 you are the best.

  • @plane1233 Thanks so very kindly. I appreciate your support.

  • it looks real great videos awesome pictures yet again you have done it

  • @kittyhak Thanks very much. I appreciate that.

  • Thanks for the video!

  • @lilzelinski Your welcome.

  • @DrPilotRedC So which version of A-5 and Realflight do you have to make that kind of comparison?

  • My old microsoft flight simulator x has nothing on these graphics!

  • awesome... the graphics are amazing! thanks for all your hard work.. and great videos.

  • @acexprt Thanks so very kindly. I appreciate that. ~NightFlyyer~
