@mrtouchmybeard I see we agree on most but I find your #1 and #2 extremely overrated characters, particuarly Vincent. Vincent has only a handful of lines in all of Final Fantasy VII. His backstory is a secret in the game and even if you find it, you still learn little about him. He never has a "moment" in FF7, if you get what I mean. Like if you had to go through all the cast, you'd find a moment for each one that defined them. Even Yuffie when she robs you. Vincent doesnt though

I respect your opinion, but I'd have to disagree with you on a few things. All of them having to do with why anyone would actually like FF12, I thought it was aweful. Your video went overkill on redeeming qualities in my book, though. The 2 things that won me over was your use of "You're Not Alone" for Zidane, that song is much better than his actual theme. the second being your inclusion of the oh so incredible Beatrix who is just a complete queen.
not a single character from ff6? That one has the best cast IMO. I dunno if FFT counts for purposes of your list cause its outside the main series but I think Ramza is my favorite FF character.
maybe characters from before ff7 are not on the list due to lack of cutscenes/fmvs but you did put them as honourable mentions so like most other fanboy i wont bitch about it but like a fanboy i will say my favorite character is celes ( final fantasy 6 for fans who think final fantasy begins at 7 )
@reddragon01369 A little from column A and B. I favoured characters with FMVs but then I wanted my list to ahve a certain degree of intregridy too. If I could re-do this list there would be replacements, and 1 of the characters coming in would be pre-FF7. The rest are as they are.

This is dumb; i know that top anything is completely based on personal opinions, but considering you act like this is the official FF character breakdown I feel like I should give you some information. The fact that Sephiroth is left off the list is blasphemy. Sephiroth and Cloud are the two characters that made FF7 the critically acclaimed success that it is. Sephiroth is also one of the signature/trademark/popular characters in the whole franchise. The only person that is more popular is cloud

You are right to put Gabranth in it, As he is the emblem of ff12, The most succesful final fantasy. More succesful than ff7 trust me, look at all the reviews on google and all gaming sites.
@Lochsabre From one FF fan to another I strongly disagree with you here. There's a reason why the gaming sites put FF 4, 6, and 7 on their top 3 and why most people have em in their top 5 because they're almost impossible to top, and I have played those titles several times over unlike the others. I'm not here to badmouth you're entitled to your opinion thank you for taking the time to make and upload this video.

Sephiroth is the greatest game character of any game I've ever played ever! Been playing for around 17years.
He gave me chills and genuinely terrified me everytime he appeared, even the mention of his name was an event. A truly brilliant character. When you find the dead Midgar Zolom impaled on the tree or the cargo ship full of dead soldiers and blood all over the floor and you know HE did it, and when he appears in the flames at Nibelheim, he's just plain awesome.
@maxikus920220 Well I dont really know his character but I kinda looked him up and found some stuff that I like bout him. I have a good feeling he's gonna be one of my faves. :)
Hope Estheim of FFXIII is probably my favorite. It's how much his character develops over the course of the game from weak and insecure teenager into a much stronger boy, not only physically but emotionally as well.

This is dumb; i know that top anything is completely based on personal opinions, but considering you act like this is the official FF character breakdown I feel like I should give you some information. The fact that Sephiroth is left off the list is blasphemy. Sephiroth and Cloud are the two characters that made FF7 the critically acclaimed success that it is. Sephiroth is also one of the signature/trademark/popular characters in the whole franchise. The only person that is more popular is cloud

Sephiroth is the greatest game character of any game I've ever played ever! Been playing for around 17years.
He gave me chills and genuinely terrified me everytime he appeared, even the mention of his name was an event. A truly brilliant character. When you find the dead Midgar Zolom impaled on the tree or the cargo ship full of dead soldiers and blood all over the floor and you know HE did it, and when he appears in the flames at Nibelheim, he's just plain awesome.

Hope Estheim of FFXIII is probably my favorite. It's how much his character develops over the course of the game from weak and insecure teenager into a much stronger boy, not only physically but emotionally as well.
