  • Yea, You all are mostly right. Just a good ol' tune from good ol' times.

  • Love it!! Don't forget to watch for Leon Russell in this video; along with Ray Wiley Hubbard

  • The 'dislike' weren't no hippie vote. Hell, the real hippies are farming and listening to country music anymore! They're shit-kickers, yes, just like you. I know. I grew up in small-town Texas, now live in farming country Wisconsin and the so-called 'farmers' up here are just corporate desk-jockeys on a $60k tractor. The 'hippies' are the ones farming like all the folks I know used to farm. I suspect it's the same all over.

  • Is that Rusty Wier singing high harmony?

  • Who let the hippie vote?

  • aHH THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!!

  • I think that's Bob Livingstone with facial hair on bass

  • Is that freebo on trombone?

  • ah yah. When the music was real and the women were too.

  • Is that Gary P. Nunn playing bass and singing harmony. It sure does sound like him.

  • 1974, Willie Nelson's 2nd annual 4th of July picnic; don't miss Leon Russell in this one....

  • The harmonica was too darn good not to be Mickey Raphael. Mickey had big hair and a full beard back then. Good video, fantastic band and the sound is great. Ray Wylie at his best and ever so cool, even while drunk.

  • Awesome!! Thanks for posting!!

  • josmom asked about the Harmonica Player.

Has to be Willie's Band Member, Mickey Raphael. I was there at the Texas World Speedway Three awsome days of music.

  • Is that Hank, Jr. playing the harmonica? If not, it's his twin. :)
