i think he puts some "lag" into the amp so it makes then noise a few seconds after... i think im not sure

actually he's using a TC electronics delay pedal to do that sound. it's not a lag effect. he plucks the notes once then the pedal delays it making it sound like an echo and sound like he hits the note twice but actually he hits it just once and coupled it with a digitech whammy to get that double octave sound. hope this helps.

you can tell when there's a group out there with a touching, organic sound, a charisma which brings people together...muse is one of those groups. on any muse video on here, you'll find most people thinking together and all for the music. and what a coincidence that the messages within muse's music apply to the crises of the day. i think muse could really be an influence on getting this hell hole called earth back into shape.
