Also, the rules are drafted very badly. It uses "character" to refer to you, the player, or to your character cards. But it also uses "player" to refer to you. This happens interchangeably. You can figure out what they mean by context once you've played through the game wrong once. This was annoying.

I don't mind hard in co-op games, Arkham Horror with The King in Yellow can be hard as nails or Shadows Over Camelot with Merlin's Company.

As Tom well said it is very streamlined perhaps with some house ruling like splitting the deck in North, West, South, East and centre in a 5 players could solve the issue on decision making rather than luck.

@cajuninms As far as I understood the game, Munchkin has much more choices. Although I have to say that there is the same amount of luck involved.
