Yes they dropped a few, i generally dont watch sri lanka and india, it does not count because they dropped if they did have maybe id have cared but since they dropped and dropping doesent count as wickets i can care less dropped catches dont count as wickets.

i still stand by what i wrote. he is being found out a bit in the ODI against india but all bowlers go through a stage where batsman play them well. he will come back a better bowler knowing that he must improve his bowling and u couldn't ask for a better teacher than murali

Yeah i agree but if he stays bowling how he gets read hes gona keep getting slogged / alot more but if he mixes it up hell get alot better and different to get people out/not get slogged Murali is a good teacher but Murali will probably only be around for a little while longer few years and if he doesent teach in time Sri lanka will be left with Mendis to hold up their spin category putting immense pressure on him unless they have another/Murali stays around for awhile imo.

U can only read a bowler who is called an off spinner and bowls off spin or vice versa. he bowls off break, leg break, arm ball, doosra, googly, top spinner and of course the Carrom Ball how on earth is a batsmen supposed to pick him then!

Some batsman would research exactly how he bowls and the actual delivery and if they have a good eye they should look at his hand and how the ball comes out to pick yes it is hard, if he changes and doesent keep the variation the same in that order it will be hard but some can and he doesent bowl every ball good and can be picked and slogged they cant always be picked e.g with warne he was like him but leg with variation and more accuracy e.g. y he was picked over mcgil he was picked in the end

Step :1 The bowler grips the ball with just two fingers i.e. between the thumb and the forefinger. Step :2 During the time of releasing the ball ; the middlefinger comes into act; i.e. the ball is squeezed out of the three fingers . Step :3 The action end up with the fingers just like , as it is placed on a carrom board to give a strike. RESULT The ball could be either leg spin , off spin , or the straighter one. The batsmen will neither read the ball from the hand nor from the spin.

The reason Murali has not been productive in Australia also has a lot to do witht he fact that the Sri Lankan batting has almost never clicked in Australia. He has nothing but 150 or 200 to defend, and in most cases since the Lankan opening bowlers have not taken any wickets he comes on early with a newer ball.

How can it be bad to have periods of intense success? It certainly makes it hard to sustain, but you have to be good to play well. This kid is clearly a fantastic prospect for world cricket, and there's nothing to suggest that he will peak and trough rather than just continue to perform well.

1. Stand a bit in front,outside the crease so he does not have enough chance to get an LBW

2. Heck with his hand, if you can read it from the hand well and good, else just read the ball from where it is going to pitch. As we saw in this video, a ball pitched on leg and middle will have to be a leg break, because no other delivery will get him a wicket.

Mate if you cant read it off the hand the only option then left is to read it off the pitch, its not rocket science. Mendis bowls much faster than conventional spinners and if your reading it off the wicket your chances of survival are pretty low.
