@mechanicojoe I think you'll find they are made in Japan. I doubt it would of lasted this long, doing what its done if it was made in China. Tanaka are not cheap Chinese rubbish!
@mickhippy nah man, if you go to the alibaba website, and search for a backpack brush cutter youll find many of them, just without brand names on them, i havent got one yet....but i will one day haha

How long have you suffered with White Finger? it could be your Carpel Tunnel needs releasing or your ulna nerve needs looking at. Get a nerve conduction study done to see where the trouble is.
Christ I don't like the idea of starting that thing with the working head unrestrained Mick. What happens if it starts and goes to full revs?
Dont think its white finger, I think its HAVS (pretty much white finger I guess). I think I have Carpel Tunnel in other wrist though! lol The glove makes a big difference and has healed pretty much.
The thing can get up to full revs at start up if the flex shaft is bent a certain way but Im onto it now. I told my kid to stand back when I started it though!
I wouldnt mind a cushy job as a salesman though! You offering? haa
i really wanna get one of these...they sell for like $100 straight from the manufacturer in china...and like $300 in canada.....
