I guess this is the part where we forget that Oprah was giving Tiger hell for refusing to say that he's black, but rather biracial because he didn't wish to deny half of himself and disrespect his Thai mother and his Thai heritage. Not all Italians have dark skin; Italians from the South, more specifically Sicilians, do tend to have darker skin(what some call the Mediterranean look, much like Greeks) but that is NOT the case for Central and Northern Italians. And just having a darker skin does not mean Sicilians have 'BLACK ancestry'. Either way, the girl looks pretty white to me, but the more important thing is WHO CARES?!Why r Americans so obsessed with race?!!!!!!!

If you're dark skin, you'll have people in society to criticize you. If you're light skin, same. Being in the middle doesn't make it any different. How can the mom say she'll never have a group to fit into?  There are so many accepting people who would have no problem accepting that child for who she is. Also, the child isn't confused because they're mixed race, they're confused because OTHER PEOPLE treat them so ridiculously. Other people force them into decisions that they have no way of making.
