@SteviePeeFitness Yes lad, there's a Greggs still in Glossop They had to move it because the door was too narrow for folk to fit through. Average width of Gregg's customers is nearly a yard, so they got a shop with a bigger door, now they didn't have to wait outside and send their children in. Thanks for watching.
Brilliant video, i used to live in Glossop over 20 years ago, the shops you mention bring back memories. Look back further at some of the shops, like Dave Bradley`s, his family used to have a good row of shops. If you were to do a video of the old shops, market hall in the old times, it would be brilliant...... By the way, the Glossop shops 20 years ago looked a hell of a lot better. But Again, brilliant video, cheers
@crapmusic Yes we would do that ff we had the footage. Next we will probably do the extinct milkmen of Glossop. Are you sure it looked better 20 years ago? maybe the cameras are just clearer. Bradley's had half of the southern side of High Street East in the early 70s, now young Lee has it down High Street West, but his fish is still as fresh as the morning dew. Glad you liked it and thanks for watching.
thanks:)
